I just received this watch a few days ago, sized it, and begin wearing it. This is my second watch from NIBOSI so I was a little familiar with the brand. It keeps good time and has a beautiful dial with iridescent deep green lines, clear markers and matching hands. I am a big fan of day/date watches as I work night shift in a medical setting and need to know what day I am on. At $40, it is an excellent daily that makes it accurate and affordable. There are a few things that I would be concerned with if it was more than that, though. The hands and markers do lume, but they do not hold the lume longer than a minute or so after charging with a lume light. The butterfly clasp is stylish and holds really well, but does not allow for micro adjustments so what you size it to is what it stays at. Fortunately for me it is spot on, neither too snug, nor too loose. The date begins changing around 10 PM which is a little soon in the evening to start moving to the next day, and when you pull the crown to set the day and date, the sweet spot for catching that particular function is a millimeter or less so it’s very touchy. Also when setting the time, the weight of the hands pull them down when the crown is pulled… like they sag and droop in place if you are holding the watch upright, so you have to maintain a level position until the crown is pushed back in and then they function normally. The case back and bracelet say stainless steel, but it feels a little hollow when tapping on the case back, but the mineral crystal sounds solid. Speaking of the crystal, it is raised ever so slightly above the bezel so that could be an issue if you are rough with it, but isn’t in my case as my watches are treated quite well. Overall, it is definitely worth $40, possibly more, for what you get. My typical price point for watches is several hundred dollars in this one easily fits in with those. With the quartz movement, I have no doubt it will last a long time with basic battery changes and normal wear. The materials, while hollow feeling, do appear like they are sturdy with a good mix of brushed, satin, and gloss finishes. It is definitely a good value for the price point. ... show more

A seemingly incredible value. I'm surprised at how good this feels at this price point. Band feels good and doesn't feel super cheap. It also wears well, despite its larger size. Unfortunately, I got one with a loose minutes hand. I can jiggle the watch and move the minute hand a bit. It doesn't move a ton, but it changes by a few minutes. This became immediately obvious as I went to set the watch. If not for this, it would be great. This is just the risk you take with affordable watches like these. Update: the watch's issues continue as now the day window isn't rotating fully, leaving half of the letters on display. When trying to adjust the time, the day/date randomly also starts adjusting. ... show more
