I use this boombox for playing audio book CDs from the library. Many similar purchases have had recurrent problems with the CDs skipping. I bought one last year and have been using it for over a year every night and it has not developed a skipping problem -- even on older library CDs. I love the compact design and the sound quality is GREAT but it comes with an incredibly short cord, only about 3 1/2 feet. I know one of the features is it's portable but I don't need it to be so this is disappointing. I had to use an extension cord. Other than that I highly recommend this radio.

I like that this Boombox is so versatile. The sound quality is quite good. Perfect for playing CDs. Thecradio tunes easily and the sound is clear. Living in a hurricane prone area, the choice of batteries or wall plug is an excellent feature.

This is a nice little machine. Good sound quality. Radio reception has been good. I ordered it because I was looking for a machine that had all of the features on the top. This came the closest. It has the tuning button and the volume button on the top. However, the on off button and the selection button are on the side. I guess that can’t be avoidable in such a small machine. Taylor Swift sells CD’s and of course my granddaughter didn’t have anything to play hers on so bought her this and she loves it. Like me she likes the bass too!!! She loves that she can listen to the radio and download her collected songs off her phone.
