  • Remote for switch
Love it. Works well for children and easy to use

  • Love this thing
So great having bigger controllers on handheld mode. Soooo nice having full sticks playing handheld too. Buttons and sticks feel really good. Gyro and vibrations work perfect. Feels really good knowing the back is covered entirely with this controller. I feel comfortable laying it down now, I mean, if I'm going to mess something up, might as well be something easier to replace than the system itself. Overall, love it. ... show more

  • Unfortunately Bulky
This NexiGo Switch controller is great. The controls work very smoothly and I cannot complain about any of the functions this product has. The clicks comfortably inside and holds up to perfection. I do not worry about my Switch falling out. Charging through the controller also works very well and haven't had any issues keeping it from dying while I play on the go. This controller also works very well in protecting the Switch from falls and bodily scratches. Honestly, there's really no problem with the product and it should be an easy 5* review with the exception that it adds A LOT of width to the Switch and keeps it from fitting any any travel cases. That's the only bad thing. The controller prevents it from fitting in any "universal" case available. I couldn't get it to comfortably fit any any of the 7 travel bags I have. I even have a "purse" that I received from another slide in controller, but this is too thick for that travel bag as well. It won't fit in my spare/travel docking station either, which has an open format and the Switch sits on top. So the Switch's screen will always be exposed, so it' important to buy a good screen protector because I haven't found a case that can fit with the controller. Overall though, this is a very good product and it's an easy buy, but maybe not for those that want to keep their Switch inside a carrying case while going about. What I liked: - Functions to perfection - Provide body protection - Charge while playing - Secure fit - Plug and play What I didn’t like: - Too thick, keeps it from fitting anywhere TL;DR: 4 STARS - I like it. It is solid quality and delivers as advertised, I would purchase it again and recommend it to a friend. ... show more

  • Big handed gamer.
As a male gamer with big hands, the old sayings are of course true, you need a big controller. I love playing the switch, but the standard controls are absolutely terrible in my hands. The corners are too small and they don't fit right. This controller changes that, with hefty grips for my hands, firm and responsive joysticks, raised and easy to reach buttons, this thing absolutely cures my controller ailments. A note that I missed, but make prefect sense, you need to use the correct charger (one as powerful as the one that came with your system) if you want to charge and use the controller at the same time, otherwise it isn't powerful enough and will intermittently disconnect. 5/5 product! ... show more

  • Once set up properly, the controller is an amazing addition to the Switch
The media could not be loaded. The NexiGo controller is wonderful for those folks that feel that the original JoyCon + Switch combination is a little uncomfortable in handheld mode, usually due to the smaller size of the original set up in combination with having larger hands. The device expands upon the original setup and provides for a much more comfortable experience, at least for me, an adult male. Out of the box, the setup was a little harder than it should have been. I followed the instructions to the T - you essentially slide your switch into the device, go into the switch controller settings and enable Pro Controller, and the controller should get automatically paired. Unfortunately, that was not the case for me. I had to go onto YouTube and search for assistance because no matter what I did, it wouldn't pair. Luckily the solution was extremely simple, I just needed to power cycle the switch (i.e., turn off and on again). Once I did that, and re-followed the steps, it paired perfectly and all of the buttons and joysticks were enabled. Another thing I am trying to get to the bottom of us the "controller paired" notification. If I put the switch to sleep while on this device, and wake up again via the power button (the standard home, a b, x y, buttons will not wake up your switch from sleep while on this device - it needs to be paired every time you wake up from sleep), I will get the controller paired notification popping up like 6-8 times in a row before it stops. Might be a Switch software issue (I am on the latest firmware as of the date of this review, think 16.0.3, as opposed to the device). This is a minor annoyance but not a deal killer. Once you get past the setup, and the notification bug, the device is wonderful. It feels really good in the hands and allows for longer playtime for me in handheld mode. The buttons, bumpers and triggers all feel great. It is a sturdy device and while it does increase the overall weight of the device compared to the original JoyCon + Switch combination, it isn't so bad. The device might not be good for kids, given the size of their hands, but if you are like me, and never felt comfortable with the original combination due to its small size, this device will make your handheld play feel much better. Last great thing about this device is that it doesn't need a separate charge - it will work directly off of the Switch's power. Note, you will not be able to use the Nintendo dock here, instead you will need to plug in via USB-C and charge the switch through the pass-through. Overall, once you get past the initial setup, it's a really solid device that makes my Switch play feel all the better. ... show more

  • Works… Major Longterm Quality Concerns
Since all these vine reviews seem rigged, here’s an actual perspective. Got a switch a couple weeks ago and have been using this for about 12 days playing Dark Souls primarily. Initially the unit is slippery due to being so smooth, but one gets used to it. The right joystick is replaceable but is especially slick and slippery. The rumble works but is rudimentary. The triggers are losing responsiveness and are becoming very loose feeling, which gives me serious concerns about the viability of this device as a long term solution. This thing will not last as a solution for more than a month. Update: shoulder buttons / trigger completely broke with normal use after barely 2 weeks ... show more

Good and stable. Only problem is you have to keep going in and making sure it's connected.
