I bought this as a wall mount for my PS5 since I have two cats and they get into everything! It seemed sturdy enough and held my PS5 fairly well. That is, until one of my cats jumped onto the Playstation while it was in the mount...loud crash and down comes my Playstation. I was horrified but by some miracle it was okay but my brand new purple plates were pretty scratched up. I put the Playstation back in the mount and installed a small but sturdy shelf over the Playstation for the cats to jump on rather than landing on the Playstation. This seemed to solve the problem, or so I thought. Fast forward 6 months...I was syncing a new dualsense controller and boom! Down comes the Playstation again. This time I managed to break its fall but the plates were scratched up even more. I noticed that the mount was bent! It was actually bent down, which would have been causing my Playstation to lean out from the wall. I bent it back in (I was alarmed at how easily the metal bent) and put everything back together and now I'm shopping for a stronger and more secure mount. If you're shopping for a mount for your expensive Playstation, don't buy this one! The metal is flimsy and there's nothing securing your Playstation to the mount. It just sits on the plate, not screwed in, and remember, I could bend the metal with my bare hands, and I have no hand strength.

A bit on the flimsy side but it works. Use a stud if possible. Just would consider the bracket be a bit heavier. Will work but I would recommend screwing to a stud. Would give 4 stars.

Bought this to add some nice decoration and support for my console and after installing bracket was bending from console weight. I also noticed the lights coming off the very next day after installing looked good for a quick second but not holding up to what it should be.
