I have reviewed this same panel before but I have to come do a second one. I have used several brands of flexible solar panels and for the money, these Newpowa panels hold up the best. Even my really pricey Sunpower panels are showing signs of wear after about that time. These panels are still going strong. They are larger than more “advanced” panels, but I’ve replaced none of my 12 Newpowas in 3 years of constant use. They’re still outputting 95% of original output. I have replaced an entire array of another brand, and I have 1 Sunpower of the 12 that’s starting to look a bit worn. These guys are just doing their thing. Now my panels are zip tied to PVC racks and left on my roof. They stayed up through 2 hurricanes and any number of weather events. I don’t coddle my panels. They have to work. Now I do prefer the specs of Sunpower panels. They are higher voltage and lower amperage so where money is no object, and efficiency is king, I’d still use Sunpower. For those wanting to spend less money, these flexible panels are best I’ve used. I’m about to put up a 1200 watt Renogy flexible panel array so I can make that comparison at some point.

I purchased two of the white bordered flexible panels, and in testing, at times saw wattage over 200 watts in full sun. A lot of the flexible panel market is expensive, and underperform their rating. These just seem to deliver. In partial shading, the do suffer, but all panels do. I've only had them for a few weeks, so I'm not sure about the long term durability, but as far as output in good conditions, they are stellar, especially for the price. ***Edit*** I also just purchased one of the new black flexible panels, and in 3:30pm mid-feb sun, it was producing nearly 10 watts more than the previously mentioned white border panels when tested with one panel only. 80watts, vs 70watts on this particular day. This one is a slightly different dimension, and 3.8lbs for the black vs 4.2lbs for the white. Once again, for the price, I wonder if you can beat these panels for output period, definitely not for output to price for a flexible panel.

I have purchased a few different types of solar panels for different purposes over the past 2 years. As anyone who owns them knows, you almost NEVER achieve the rated output. I was actually able to exceed the rated output several times (by only a few watts). Perhaps my measurement tools need calibration, but regardless, these provide excellent power output. As for their weight and flexibility, that is another great aspect and can likely be installed nearly anywhere a traditional panel is installed. The ONLY negative is the 4 mounting holes are insufficient for my mounting purposes. I had to get creative with securing the middle of the panels, but that is a small price to pay. I would HIGHLY recommend these, and no, unfortunately I did not receive these free, nor was I compensated for this review. Will post a YouTube video on my setup. I am using 2 of these to solar charge my e-bike while riding. It of course involves some other electronics, most of which I of course purchased on Amazon.

I measured 150 watts from 2 panels mid-day during November, meaning 75 watts each. I expect I'll get close to 200 watts mid-day during summer months. That's around latitude 38 - I was a little surprised you don't have to go to the tropics to get them to perform that well. I got them for portable use, and personally I find this form factor to be convenient for storage - they area little longer and a little narrower than some other options in this price range.

Bought 8 of these and installed them recently. I have each pair of 2 panels connected in series to make 24 volts per pair, x4 pair on the array. Each pair is connected in parallel to my MPPT. I had to make sure I'm using an MPPT rated for such a configuration. The system is online right now and making power. Adding these 8 new panels to my previous system has put my total output at about 1200 watts peak, and between 8 and 10 amps on a good day. These feed a 800ah battery bank, and a 600 watt inverter to make AC power for 3 exhaust fans in a barn. Load hours are anywhere from 8 to 12 hours per day.

I have both generations of the Newpowa 100W panels, the new 9BB perform much better but the older shape fits around my roof vent perfectly! I currently have 1200W setup on two Renogy rover MPPT controllers wired in 2 series 3 parallel each. This keeps the PV voltages around 40V and around 15-20A on the lines. I installed 10AWG cable between the combiners and the chargers. I usually get around 600-700W on a normal day, peak is 840W where my chargers clip the power, and cloudy days I see 200-250W out of the entire system. With the correct angles these panels would see even better performance, but it is much easier to flat mount on an RV. The first panels are raised above the roof 2" in the front and 3" in the rear, the second set of panels are from 3" in the front to 6" in the rear, all additional panels will be at 6" off the roof of the RV to provide better cooling and low enough to not be the tallest point on the RV. I originally installed the first 8 panels as two strings of MPPT at 80V and 5-6A, the angle difference in the RV roof actually caused the panels to only produce at 49% rated wattage. after changing them to 3 series arrays and 2 in parallel for 6 panels at 40V on each MPPT I now easily see around 70% even with the 0.5% loss in the cable for the lower voltage.
