Pretty easy install on my Z390 Aorus MB. Only thing was the connector is pretty easy to bend on a tight fitting MB 12pin connector so it might be good for future boards to have a bit of epoxy to stabilize the connector

At first, I was a little apprehensive about purchasing this as I was afraid I'd accidentally buy the wrong thing. However, this TPM2.0 did exactly what it said it would do! I have a Gigabyte B365M motherboard, and all I had to do was plug it into the TPM header and I was able to upgrade the PC to Windows 11. Didn't even have to do anything in the BIOS. To top it off, this TPM module is half the price of the official Gigabyte one (if you can even find one). If you're looking for a simple way to get TPM2.0 in your Gigabyte motherboard, I'd highly recommend this chip. ... show more

    • Its TPM 2.0.
TLDR: Its a hardware TPM module, to get around AMD's horrible firmware TPM. It works for this just fine. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- But, it is a finicky little expletive. When I was putting it into my x570 board it bent a bit and didn't even go in all the way. After it forced my bios to wipe forcing me to redo my memory timings I re-seated it and it started working. First 2 reboots are finicky, afterwards everything loaded just fine. Honestly this shouldn't even be necessary, it is a waste of money when fTPM exists, but since fTPM is broken and even AMD recommends hardware TPM here we are. Minus a star for build quality, but otherwise it gets the job done. ... show more
