In the past I’ve used mandolines, and I probably bought one a month because sweet potatoes are so hard to slice because they are so dense. Stopped working after a month. Completely dead. Can’t even return it because the return window closed exactly a month later. Update- the seller was able to help fix the issue. Slicer needed a new power cable and it’s working now. Thank you

I purchased this to slice oranges and apples for drying in a dehydrator. To be honest it seemed like overkill for my needs but everything else out there was like a toy. I am so glad I bought this slicer. It sets up easy and is easy to use (it is not orange season yet so I tried some bought apples). This slicer gives me nice even slices which is important for even drying in the dehydrator. When it comes to cleaning it it was no big deal.
