These lights work great. I did not string them yet because it's not Christmas! But we set them outside for the day and checked them in the evening and they were shining brightly. They work very well. Hopefully the picture does it justice. We left them bundled up, but you might be able to tell they are sitting on top of a bush right now. So they are NOT as big as they appear in the picture. Each light bulb is about 2 inches long. They remind me of the strings of lights with bigger light bulbs that they used to always have 20 - 30 years ago or so. I expected them to be much larger because of the way the picture makes them look. You could easily string these on your house. Overall, I am very pleased with them and am excited to use them this Christmas!

There is nothing wrong with the lights, per se. They light as they should, they have a decent glow, and they have multiple display settings (i.e. twinkle, fade, continuous). My real problem is that the lights are smaller than I was expecting. I probably should have known better, as there are 20 lights that cover 35 ft in length, but that was really the only information given about the lights. The pictures make them look like they are 4-6 inches in size, when in reality, they are only 1-2 inches long. That's the reason for subtracting the star. Other than that, I am excited to use these on my pathway during the holiday season.

I generously gave these 2 stars because they are indeed solar, and they do work, beyond that all praise ends. I included a pic from the ad, as It shows these being used as a pathway light set. I have owned a set of large pathway Christmas lights like this in the past, for about the same amount of money, but it was plug in. They were the size depicted in the photos on this ad. Inside each light was a C9 size bulb which lit up the outer plastic housing, looking like giant Christmas lights. I thought that going over to solar and LED would be a good replacement. Boy way I wrong. Well not so much wrong as duped. These lights are ever so slightly bigger than my thumb. They are just standard size Christmas bulbs. If you were to put them along a path as their photos show, they would be buried under the first dusting of snow. They are fine if you are looking for a small set of standard size Christmas lights, but don't expect them to work as shown on anything larger than a doll house.

These are C9 bulbs. I have no idea why the description says 12 inches. The box they come in isn't even 12 inches. The lights themselves are bright and nice, too bad the description and pictures the company put up is misleading because had my expectations been set better I probably would have given them 5 stars.

Nice design, it's the reason why I got them for the holidays, makes your yard stand out from others. The lights aren't that bright in just standard color mode,( no lights flashing) The lights get a little bit brighter when you have them flashing strobbing or changing color. ( Even then they could still be brighter) but it's the brightest mode of all.. It may decrease run time running them like that but the choice is yours... I like the design and look they give and offer, I went for looks and so some performance suffers because of it. Quality seemed pretty basic to me... It does its job, It serves its purpose and it does it good....

I thought these lights were going to be much bigger. They are very small and will not show up well from the street. The picture is misleading and makes them look quite large. My fault I did not check the specifications fully.

I am so excited to get these solar bulbs. I had seen some of these in our large neighborhood last year. The 20 pack provides enough to line up 10 bulbs per side up to our front stairs. We tried them out in our back yard the other night. They looked wonderful. I prefer solar power lights to reduce the use of polluting batteries in the landfill and the money they save you on electricity and batteries.
