I was impressed with this laptop once I got it. It ran all my games right out of the box with little difficulty. I did increase the ram in this to 32 GB, only because I also work in 3D art and I wanted to ensure I could run those 3D programs without a hitch. Pros - Works great out of the box. Very nice laptop for the price Cons - Needed just a bit more ram for my liking Battery life can be a bit short depending on what you're doing. Sometimes the battery runs down in as little as 2 hours. My old laptop's battery would last 4 hrs minimum, 6 hrs if I wasn't playing games online. I wish the power on button was located in a different spot. I bought this as a far far upgrade from the laptop I had because it wouldn’t run even the most basic of games from steam. This one however had good specs and I bought it because it was similar to my roommates. However, it’s a shame that less than 30 minutes out of the box, the laptop started crashing with no explanation. Later on it blue screened several times and the code was for a hard drive/RAM error. When I contacted the seller about it they weee very apathetic and did not offer much help. Returning this today for a better laptop elsewhere. ... show more

Honestly this might be my perfect gaming laptop for what I use it for. I originally bought the laptop for my girlfriend to play games with me since I have a gaming desktop, but this also works in a pinch if your main PC isn't doing so hot. The pros are that I can run any game I've thrown at it very well, playing Fortnite, CS2, Rocket League and many more with no problems. The screen is great and clear, and the speed is insanely fast. The sound is very quiet on it's speakers and you can't hear it over the sounds of the fans when running a game. The only drawback you're really going to get is the battery life even if you aren't gaming. I used to use this laptop for college and if I didn't bring my charger it would die by the second class. That's going to be with all types of gaming laptops though. If you're looking for something for everyday use around a campus this isn't going to be for you. However if you have a wall outlet nearby this laptop is perfect. The only other thing I've noticed that does get quite annoying (and frankly scary if you're not used to it) is if you're using the laptop and plug/unplug the charger the screen goes black for a couple seconds. Not sure why but it still gets me even to this day with me thinking I broke it lol ... show more

This is a great lil' laptop for the price. Def plays games, I run both WOW and FF14 on it and use it to flop around in bed, be lazy, and play games or do some writing or answering emails if I don't want to sit at the PC. It's was purely a self-care kind of buy but I can see someone getting this as their main PC as it should, and would very easily cover most of your needs that buying a larger desktop, keyboard, mouse, monitor would be equal to. If you're kinda broke but still want something that'll last you a couple years and let you play games while you save for something big and beefy, this is your guy. Or the very near equivalents also from MSI with bigger SSD and better processors. But this one would cover your butt for a good bit. ... show more
