I got this for my college course work. I have a high performance laptop and needed something like weight and portable. I also didn't want to sped a ton of money. The pink is super cute. No scratches nor dents nor anything to tell you that it was used / refurbished. Start up without issue. Signed into google for docs and other favorites. You can't set this to Chrome browser - at least I can't - HP has a blocker and I cant get the right mindset to disable it. You can use other browsers w/o issue, I just prefer chrome. It is not good for gaming nor multi streaming. I can watch spectrum or prime or w/e, but if I open another window the streaming window will buffer. It is also slow b/c it will get a ton of adds (not chrome). EXCELLENT price point. Super happy for my purpose. If you need a laptop and are mindful of your budget for any reason, give this a shot. I am trying to reinstall my operating system, however the drives that I am getting from HP’s site which are compatible are not installing and I keep getting the error message “Contact your vendor for the latest version”. I've been looking for months for the perfect laptop for school work, and I've found it. I've seen both negative and positive reviews of the HP Stream, so I didn't know what to expect. I can only say good things about this laptop, now. The cosmetics are like new, and it functions just as good as it looks. Plus, for whatever reason, it smells like coconuts.     • DO NOT PURCHASE! It broke within a few months
BEWARE! Let me start by saying when I received the laptop I was thrilled with it. Unfortunately, a few short months later the laptop won't hold a charge and isn't working properly. I contacted the seller as the item has a manufacturer warranty for one year. This item was delivered to me the end of June and hasn't even lasted through the year. UNACCEPTABLE. Rather than trying to assist me in any way, troubleshoot, or provide me with any type of resolution they sent me an email back that it was already too late to return and exchange. Laptops and other electronics have a shelf life far above and beyond a few short months. This is a lemon and a scam DO NOT PURCHASE!
