A 64GB memory card came with the laptop. I inserted it to my android phone and added a few tv series and all my baby pictures, starting from when he was a newborn until his age now, which is 8 months old. This memory card decided to not show up in my phone at all after a while. None of my devices are acknowledging this memory card, like it doesn't exist and all my baby pictures are stored on it. I feel like burning into tears. I did not back up to OneDrive. These memory cards y'all are giving away with the laptops are no good! Throw them away instead of giving them to people that'll only be disappointed in the end! ... show more

We bought this computer for my daughter's schoolwork. There is so much to love. But after 3-4 months of use, it worked one evening ... The next morning it would not turn on. Even when it was clear the machine was plugged in and charging, no luck. HP took the laptop back to "fix under warranty" but claims that someone installed a 16GB that is not genuine HP. Because this is what "caused" an issue with the rest of the laptop, they will not honor the warranty and my only option is to pay for a 4GB unit (the ONLY genuine HP option for this unit) to be installed ... because this qualified for "accidental damage" NOT covered under warranty. My kids are tough enough on electronics. Didn't need this headache, making a purchase in good faith! ... show more

I bought this because I needed something inexpensive that could run Windows to fill in the gaps of what my little 6-year-old Chromebook was capable of, but I can tell that this is going to become my primary machine. It's lightweight, good-looking, and the keyboard and touchpad are both large and easy to get comfortable with. I chose the option with 16gb RAM and 192gb storage (64gb native and 128gb on a microSD) and I couldn't be happier with how smoothly I was able to get everything personalized and up and running. I could see this being a great cost-friendly computer for college students or kids doing virtual learning, if a Chromebook isn't an option. I've seen people complaining on other listings that their computers appeared to be resale items from Walmart, so I want to add that that doesn't seem to be the case here.
