I’ve had it for 3 months now and it’s perfect for what I need it to do, which is online classes, drawing, and watching movies. At some point I’m going to test some games (fear & hunger, Minecraft) to see if they’ll work, I’ll update my review when I try that. Its battery life is pretty decent too, it stays charged for hours depending on what you’re doing and how high the brightness is, it charges quickly too, like it’s fully charged within 2 hours. Its on the bigger side, I have a basic 16oz water bottle for scale in my pics if you’re curious about that, it’s a little bit annoying carrying it around but not too bad. The quality and durability seem to be good. I’ve dropped it multiple times, and once I even accidentally kicked it off my bed so hard it basically went flying lol the laptop was completely fine. Make sure to update it, otherwise it’ll be super slow, laggy, and basically useless…so update it asap! I almost returned it when I first got it because of this, but a simple update fixed it completely. ... show more

While setting up the laptop I noticed that there were two scratches on the laptop in total, one being more of a scratch than the other. Hardly noticeable, although overall it looked brand new. I have no real complaints as of yet while using it. It's what I expected, I knew it is not a computer meant for gaming but more for getting some work done. I can easily open 12 tabs, have a youtube vid running and open a word document but it is not going to run Minecraft on the lowest settings, I mean it can but its unplayable in my opinion. The computer does not come with windows 11 installed, I felt lied too when I got it and saw it running windows 10 In S mode out of the box since the description, title and specs clearly say and show windows 11. (running "S mode" just means running safe mode) It comes with a card in the box telling you how to disable it, but one disabled it can not be re-enabled. The photos even show windows 11. But not to worry, I simply installed windows 11 on my own after a days worth of updates. A quick google search and one youtube vid can help install it. It does not have an ethernet port. But I got an ethernet to USB adaptor to make pages load faster. The camera? It has one! It works, it will get the job done. No issues with any ports or the charging cable, no issues with the mouse pad. Everything feels brand new. In conclusion, this is a decent laptop at its price for getting work done. So if you need a computer to write an essay for school or need to hop in a zoom call then this can work just as good as your phone. Personally I plan to learn and practice learning some programming languages on it from youtube and such. I got this laptop for some minor projects with editing vocals. I would say I got maybe 30 hours out of if it over the course of less than 1 month. In the middle of an editing project the laptop screen went black. The whole laptop shut off and has not turned on since. The light blinks then goes dark again. Update - they pushed back tha ship date a few times. After 23 days of waiting and being told "it's on it's way" or "you'll receive it within 72 hours" I receive an email telling me they don't have this item available any more. This has caused me to lose work. It has cost me time and money. I will never buy from this seller again and will be looking for a laptop somewhere other than Amazon. This is ridiculous and unacceptable! Update: I returned the laptop for a replacement. The pushed back the ship date 3 times. After waiting a month for the replacement, I was told they could not fulfill the order. More time and jobs lost waiting on a laptop that never came. ... show more

I got this laptop to use for work and nothing else. Chrome is constantly running out of memory and crashing, even though I don't have that many tabs open. Plus, I started getting "low memory" messages from Windows a couple weeks after starting to use it. Keep in mind that I have very few programs installed on this thing. Chrome is really the only thing ever running. When I do try to open certain programs, they lag for a long time. I am not sure whether this happens because it's refurbished and has some underlying problem or what. If you have to do intensive work or want to play games, this thing definitely cannot handle it. On the plus side, it is cheap and lightweight, and it's okay when it actually works as it is supposed to. ... show more
