This laptop has always been excessively slow. It can't really handle much compared to others in the same price range and doesn't feel much better than a chromebook. There is no separate right or left click buttons. The left or right side of the touchpad has to be clicked instead but it doesn't work half the time. If I click the right side of the touchpad, it'll register as a left click instead. It's beyond frustrating. On two separate occasions, there was some problem with booting up and it Windows had to go through a very lengthy rebooting/restoration process. The hard drive is always clicking. That all sounds bad but there's more. The hinge on the right side broke although I never dropped it and was always gentle when handling. The screen is wobbly now and I can't close or open it because it'll cause more damage to the hinge. I'll stick to buying a cheap used laptop and installing Linux on it next time. Even a laptop I bought back in 2012 for the same price was infinitely better in terms of computing power and sturdiness. This one was not meant to last. Laptop only worked when plugged in. Contacted Dell and they determined the battery was no good. They are sending me a new laptop to replace the one I purchased on here. I would have utilized the free return but was worried I would get another bad laptop. Overall everything else worked great but the issue with the battery not staying charged. ... show more

    • Super Slow With a Mind Of Its Own
I was able to take a few classes using this laptop but it is extremely slow and has been from the start. Not a touchscreen and the mouse pad is super sensitive and often gets stuck. Moving the laptop and setting it down often triggers a "click". Not sure I would purchase again :(

    • Performance Issues
This laptop was a Christmas gift for my wife. It powered up and the setup was done without issue. We used it for a day, doing web-based apps and even watched some YouTube videos with no issues. We used it again a couple of days later, but the performance was very poor. Screens would hang and freeze for extending periods. It was unusable. We powered down and closed the device. We were out of town and returned home a week later. It powered up and was useable for a little while (an hour or two), then again became slow. When typing a word, each letter would take several seconds to complete. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing so we have returned it. ... show more
