I have an older kayak and this cushion is perfect for long paddles, providing comfort for over 5 hours of paddling. Seat cover is washable and I recommend air dry for it. Cushion itself can be wiped off. So glad I found this product.

This is a nice cushion for my kayak. I do lots of all day paddles so I cant wait to try it out next trip. I like the grip on the bottom also so it wont slide around the seat area in the boat.

I used this for a 14 hour kayak ride because my last trip caused a lot of sciatica pain. This cushion was amazing! Exactly what I was hoping for. I didn't even notice that I was sitting on a cushion, it just felt like part of the seat, and it wasn't too large so that it raised my height in the kayak. First of all, let me just let you know that I’m not a kayaker, and I just got this cushion to try and help when I have to sit in my chair for too long when I’m working. I thought it would really help because I’ve seen many like it, and it just looks really comfortable. I’ve been sitting on it for awhile, and I’m actually a little disappointed because it doesn’t seem to change things much. I still get numbness and discomfort. It maybe helps a little, but the longer I have to sit, the more I’m convinced that it might be less helpful than I’d like. It’s not as thick as I was expecting, and maybe that’s an important factor in how you’re going to be using it. I might need a thicker one. I like the cover because it has the little bumps on the bottom to keep it in place. It was a little difficult getting it on and zipped because it’s a pretty snug fit, but it does go on. ... show more

Gives a decent amount of comfort and more importantly, for me at least, it gave me a little added seat height, which improved my position and helped me avoid rubbing the sides of the kayak when I paddled.
