  • Great for gaming and typing
Size: Apex Pro TKL 2023 Style: Wired
I bought this keyboard to replace my Logitech RGB G910, which I had purchased in 2017 for $130. That was a great gaming keyboard, but for typing it wasn't very good at all. So I figured I was due for an upgrade and after a bit of research, settled on the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL 2023. So far, I am very impressed at how the keyboard handles both gaming and regular typing workloads. The keys are ultra sensitive (key sensitivity can be modified) and responsive which makes typing very fast and accurate, especially compared to my previous G910 which was infamous for requiring heavy keystrokes. The Apex Pro TKL 2023 by comparison needs far lighter keystrokes. Gaming wise I would also give the edge to the Apex Pro, though it's not necessarily a fair comparison as the Logitech is a much older keyboard but since that is my point of reference I will go with it. Another thing I love about this keyboard compared to my old Logitech G910 is that it comes with a decent assortment of preloaded RGB color profiles. This means I don't have to install SteelSeries software unless I really want to change to a custom profile. The G910 by comparison had only one preloaded RGB profile and as far as I know, you had to have the Logitech software running to be able to set a custom profile. These manufacturers do that because they want you to download their software so they can further pull you into their ecosystem, which is why they limit the amount of customization you can do without the software. SteelSeries is no different in that regard, but at least they have a lot more stock profiles to choose from. Anyway, all in all a great keyboard that can multifunction for gaming and regular workloads and highly recommended. ... show more

  • Great keyboard
Size: Apex Pro TKL 2023 Style: Wireless
This is the best gaming keyboard I have owned. I still have not even messed with the activation points of the keys. It takes a little to get use to the keys but once I did it awesome. I am use to tactile keys. The app needs some updates but it's getting there. Can't wait for them to add more apps and games to the app. If looking for new keyboard and not wanting to create your own this is the way to go. ... show more

  • I’m a Pro
Size: Apex Pro TKL 2023 Style: Wired
Let me start off by saying that I'm a professional gamer. I'm so professional, I put the "pro" in "procrastination." And let me tell you, the SteelSeries Pro TKL 2023 keyboard is the perfect keyboard for anyone who wants to take their procrastination to the next level. First of all, let's talk about the design. It's sleek, it's sexy, it's...oh who am I kidding, it's a keyboard. But it's a damn good keyboard. The keys are so responsive, you'll feel like you're typing on clouds. And the tenkeyless design means you'll have more space on your desk for important things, like a picture of your cat or a half-eaten bag of chips. But what really sets this keyboard apart is the RGB lighting. I mean, who needs a social life when you can have a keyboard that lights up in 16.8 million different colors? You can even customize the lighting for each key, so you can make your WASD keys look like a rainbow, or your F1-F12 keys look like a disco ball. It's like a party on your desk, and you're the only one invited. And if you're worried about accidentally spilling your Mountain Dew on this bad boy, don't be. The SteelSeries Pro TKL 2023 is spill-resistant, so you can spill as much Mountain Dew as you want (just don't tell your dentist). In conclusion, if you're looking for a keyboard that's both practical and flashy, look no further than the SteelSeries Pro TKL 2023. It's perfect for procrastinators, gamers, and anyone who wants to add a little pizzazz to their workspace. And who knows, maybe it'll even make you a better gamer. Or at least a better procrastinator. ... show more

  • C key LED problem after only 4 months
Size: Apex Pro TKL 2023 Style: Wired
I have had this keyboard for 4 months now and it's built pretty solid, but now the blue led for the C key no longer lights. I'm trying to go through Steelseries support, but it's slow and confusing. This shouldn't be an issue with a new $200 dollar keyboard. Support needs a crapload of information which I keep sending, but according to their email to me I have until Sept 28th to get it done. The ticket was opened on Sept 21st. I will update if they come through and resolve the problem to my satisfaction. Update: I asked a question......what is the status of my ticket. Instead of answering the question I was informed that my first request was closed and merged with the new request. Still no resolution to the led problem and steelseries has no live person to actually talk to; just the npc app for questions. Supposedly you get directed to an actual person if the chat box isn't enough, but that has yet to happen in real time. Not that they care but I lowered Steelseries rating. Final update: "We are so sorry to inform your product is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty through SteelSeries directly. Although the vendor you purchased from has sold you the device, they are not an authorized re-seller. They will have to go to their distributor to handle any RMA claims. What this means is that you will need to file a claim with your vendor to have the device replaced. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause" Blue LED on the windows key just died. I expect better for the price. The keyboard is now seven months old and yet another blue led has died. March 14th the keyboard died completely. Not even one year old. Steelseries has lost a long time customer. ... show more
