I purchased this for use on a synthetic wig. It works really well, it gave nice curls. The air does get very hot and can be uncomfortable on your skin. You just need to use common sense and not hold it to close or to your skin.

Let me begin by saying that I have never been good at curling my hair. I own several curling irons, but have always found them frustrating and could never get the look I was going for, let alone get the curls to last. I’m a long time fan of Revlon’s One Step dryer brush (I own two) so I decided to give this a try. I’m not sure if it’s the fact that I’m used to using the hot air brush or something about the design of the tool itself, but for me this was much easier than any iron I’ve ever owned. I have thick, medium-coarse wavy/curly hair that I pre dried with my one step earlier in the day. Another thing I should note is that I have some physical issues with nerves in my hands that I worried might cause issues - some tools are too heavy or uncomfortable to hold for me, but this was perfect. I curled my whole head in less than 15 minutes on my first try. Other things to note: The curling wand detaches from the handle for storage. This tool does have low, medium, high and cool settings so you are able to customize the heat to your hair and comfort level. It really is necessary to make sure your hair is at least 80% dry before using this tool, but it can also be used on second day hair for touch ups. Overall, I highly recommend this hair tool. And while Amazon has it at this price, now is the time!

I bought this to style my synthetic wigs. The way they work is I have to heat the hair to at least 250 but not more than 300 (on most) and once the fibers are in the shape I want they need to stay in that position until they come back to room temp. So normally I use rollers - I wrap all the rollers I want, then steam and let them air dry and once they are cool they are set, even if the fibers are still wet, it's about the temperature. So I bought this because I saw a wig vendor use it in a tutorial. The wrapped a curl, used the heat function and then switched it to cool and once the fibers were cool enough they released the curl and it set. Received this unit, wrapped a curl on one of my synthetic wigs, used the low heat to warm it up, then switched to cool and it kept blowing warm air for a couple minutes, it never really gave a cool shot like my regular hair dryer does. Total waste of money and it's frigging huge so it takes up a ton of room. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR WIG STYLING, NOT AT ALL. Good luck w your bio hair maybe it'll work.

I bought this after a video I saw thinking yes!!! Perfect one, one less step. It works okay but i fee like my hair is sooo fizzy. I’m not sure about it yet…. Going to give it a few more tries and differs dryness . For reference I have very thick, wavy hair. A little below the shoulders

This concept is great! Best sure with slightly damp hair. Curls will initially be more curly and then drop. You end up with a blown out look. I love it, great alternate to flat iron

It’s price is way better than other brands plus it really works. It makes drying hair easier because of its ergonomic design. Easy to use, dries my hair faster than my regular hair dryer. I’ve been using it for a few months with no issues.

This product is good quality which is why I gave it 4 stars on money/ drying power. However, if rolled down closer than 3-4 inches to scalp the heat is unbearable. It blows straight down which burns. I wanted SO BADLY to love this product but it just hurts to use it. While it IS easy to use it is NOT useful. I would NOT recommend to purchase this.

The media could not be loaded. Normally I’m too lazy to write reviews. However, I feel like this one is a must for me. I would spend so much money going to a salon to wash and blowout my hair and the best part is when they gave me the fluffiest curls and shine. I’m so addicted to the blowout curls that I would go weekly and I ended up dried out my hair. Recently I’ve started to treatment my hair at home and left it air dry. The sad part about that is my hair looks frizzy. I’ve looked into getting the Dyson set but it’s really expensive and when I shopped for used and there’s so many available. So I decided to go for Revlon since I own all the blow out product. The blowout curling wand is amazing. I’m truly in love and this saving me $100 per month salon visit.
