I have a Nintendo 64 and one of my favorite games to play on it was Pokemon Snap. It is my favorite game console by far but it just doesn't look good on the newer TV screens no matter what I do. Since I'm not a huge gamer, I decided to buy myself a Switch, knowing a new version would be coming out soon. Right after getting the console, I bought this game. I wanted a physical copy instead of digital so I never have to worry about not having access. This version is just as fun as the previous 64 game, but comes with more features and tasks. It's simple, easy to play and can be enjoyed by any age group. It worked flawlessly on my Switch and gives instructions so you know what to do along the way. Something some other games can lack. It's nice to kick back, relax and just take some pics of Pokémon's in the wild. ... show more

This game is incredibly enjoyable and provides a relaxing experience for players of all ages! The objective is to capture photos of Pokemon, and as you advance in the game, you can unlock additional areas. I like the grading system that appears at the conclusion of each tour! My family and I take turns to see who can snap the best pictures, which makes it a lot of fun and adds a competitive edge. The game arrived sealed and in new condition, though there were a few minor creases in the binding from a physical media collectors POV. I highly recommend it though! ... show more

This game captures the magic and wonder of the Pokémon world in a way that no other game has before. The premise of the game is simple - you play as a photographer on a mission to capture photos of as many Pokémon as possible. But don't let the simplicity fool you - this game is full of surprises and challenges that will keep you engaged for hours on end. As someone who has completed the main story and found all the pokémon, I highly recommend this game. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Some highlights: - It’s a game for both people who played the N64 version like me and for new players. It has nostalgic references from the original, but you don’t need to know anything about the original to play this new game. - It’s a game for casual players and for people who like challenges. For example, you can progress through the main story and enjoy casually taking photos, but you can also take on some more challenging puzzles/interactions to unlock additional route pathways and get hidden pokémon (including legendaries). - It has a lot of content. Even after completing the main story and seeing the credits, new routes and endgame pokémon become available. Over the course of the game you unlock several islands with day and night versions of routes. And each of these routes has different levels where different things happen based on how you interact with the environment/pokémon and what pathways you choose. Plus there are side quests to complete and 1, 2, 3, and 4-star pictures for each pokémon based on interactions you can trigger (and each of those has different colors of stars showing photo quality that you can improve). - It has a lot of pokémon. They are all well designed with a lot of expressions and activities. It has a very safari and natural habitat feel. Overall, this was a very well done game. ... show more
