These are really nice containers in theory. They look nice and they have nice attachments that can fit under the lid, and they're great for storage. I would not, however, call them airtight. You're supposed to have to click the button to get the lid off, but I can pull all of mine off without clicking the button. In fact, one of them it's as easy to pull off the lid without clicking the button as it is with clicking the button. For the price, you can definitely get better containers. I decided to keep mine because I don't really need something COMPLETELY airtight (fairly airtight is good enough for my purposes). Plus, these were the only size that fit perfectly in my cabinet. The other con is that delivery of the items seems to be a mess. I ordered a couple initially, and one came shattered, and another came in the wrong size AND without a lid. When I complained to OXO, the woman didn't even apologize and just routinely gave me the instructions, as if she deals with this all day every day. Based on the reviews here, I'm guessing she probably does deal with this a lot. And then amazon made me mail the shattered and wrong one back, even though I had pics of them clearly being unusable. I wish they would have just let me chuck them instead of having to bring it to UPS which isn't even close to me... so just be prepared for that too! ... show more

I bought this to store my rice versus having it in its original packaging. I love these containers. I use them for everything and the sealed lid is what sold me on purchasing. Whatever food items you put in here they will stay fresh. I prefer these to the cute glass jars with the wooden lids, because I feel these are functional and they are plastic. The lid top is super easy to clean. Make sure to let it dry completely so you don’t get mold. I’m going to buy a smaller one for my brown sugar ... show more

This is my second set. I purchased the first set in 2008. Since 2008 I have used these for brown sugar, sugar, flour etc. The only complaint I have is that the plastic on the outside seemed to have stained with all sorts of finger prints etc making them not easy to clean at all. I could not get it off with anything I tried. Ended up tossing them anyway since the lids lost their tightness. Got 15 years off them so this set should last long after I am gone. I recommend these highly. It is OXO which is my favorite brand of storage for the kitchen. ... show more

I ordered various sizes of these OXO pop containers to replace my 30-some year old wedding gifted storage containers for flour, sugars, pasta, choc chips, etc. WoW, these are awesome! Perfect sizing options for everything in my pantry. Love the airtight “pop” button for freshness. They fit nicely in my hand, easy to grab. I love that they are clear (see-through). I’ve been so full of anxiety over this organization new year goal. It’s a lot harder than people make it look. But these containers are absolutely perfect! I’m ordering more and hopefully will have my bathroom drawers looking great in no time. The pet ones and the food ones are the same except the pop part. One is square and one circle. I like the different looks in my bathroom so for me it’s fabulous but for those matcha matcha people, you may want to make sure you order all alike.
