I have been making an effort to purge plastic out of the kitchen and these came up in my search for glass storage containers. I really like the color and the lockable lids. I wish the lids were glass but they don't touch the food often so I'm not as worried about it. I'm trying not to be lazy and wash the lids either by hand or take the rubber gasket out to wash them in the dishwasher. The instructions recommend doing either for long gevity but say they are dishwasher safe. ... show more
