Piece of junk! Yes, I have a dedicated C wire. This thermostat will not hold the date and time. At least once per day the thermostat completely loses the time. There have been zero power outages, not spikes, not reason! The thermostat it replaced, which I had for about 8 years, never once had this issue and I did not have batteries in it. When the unit loses the date and time it stops following a schedule and reverts to very high default temperature. I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS PIECE OF TRASH. Sadly, I do not have the packaging to return the VERY, VERY overpriced chunk of plastic. ... show more

We bought this for a vacation home becasue we wanted to be able to control it remotely via the home's WiFi. It works great for that, no bugs or problems with the remote software. And they don't try to tag you with an extra subscription fee to sign up for the remote access.

Only adds humidity when the heat is on. The older model I had could run the fan while adding humidity and the heat could be on or off… Cannot be reprogrammed - my installer spent 2 hours speaking to Honeywell.
