I have not installed it yet, but I already feel confident I made the right choice with the Honeywell Home X8S Smart Thermostat. After weeks of comparing options, this one stood out for its blend of advanced tech and practical energy-saving features. If you want something that does more than basic heating and cooling, this thermostat covers a lot of ground. What really impressed me is that it feels more like a smart home hub than just a thermostat. It can actually display a live feed from your video doorbell (compatible with Ring and First Alert VX1), lets you talk to visitors, and even helps monitor indoor air quality. That is a massive upgrade coming from my older, basic thermostat.
