Works well so far but doesn’t come with the post that gets used in the manual choke feature. I had to modify the choke to make a post so the choke lever contacts it. I simply misread the fine print but made the carb work anyways. Shame I didn't see that ahead of time.

I had to reuse my carb housing and the gaskets that come with the kit are kind of thin. The carb fits and the new line is quite long and works and spark plug works.

Local shop wanted a couple hundred bucks to fix my lawnmower. I bought this and installed myself for far less. I don’t know what happened but it caused the mower to run at a much higher RPM which was fine with me because I liked the mulching effect.

I highly recommend this carb kit. I installed it on my Troy bilt 27ton log splitter and it worked great with no adjustment. I spilt wood for about an hour and it never had an issue. I'm very pleased. You can beat the price as well.

I had to make some minor modifications for it to work on my mower—no big deal. But after everything was installed and adjusted, my mower still surged. So, I broke down and cleaned the original and reinstalled it. Now, the mower runs like new.

This is NOT a direct plug and play for the Honda GCV160, model HRR216K9VA!! The spring loaded mechanisms (pictured) on the top of carb do not match OEM, so it will work if installed, but it sounds like it’s being ride WIDE OPEN and will explode if left running!!! I imagine this is because the carb is in normally open state without the spring mech part lining up to throttle properly. Re-installed existing carb, but used fuel line, filter, spark plug from this kit and it fired right up!!
