I have a friend who recommended the Pulsar LT for my 2019 Silverado RST (check to see if it works for your specific model), and I watched several videos about it. It’s not a tuner, but rather, a module that unlocks features and adjustments already available FROM THE FACTORY! The instructions were very thorough, and I watched the company’s video, as well. The Pulsar is a great value, because it solves or fixes a number of things. Most importantly, it works as a DFM/AFM disabler, a feature in some GM V8 engines which can lead to lifter problems. It keeps the engine in V8 mode at all times, rather than shutting down cylinders. Also, it shuts down that annoying auto start/stop feature we all hate, but that is also responsible for battery and starter issues. You can easily adjust for different tire sizes, and change the pressure on the TPMS. It also increases/decreases the top speed and throttle response. Installation was very easy, and instructions on programming were very easy to follow. (NOTE: The Pulsar LT comes with a great quick reference card, that’s great, but the instruction manual was even more thorough, pointing out that the cruise control had to be turned OFF while the truck was running and the truck, then, was turned off before programming could begin.) I have had no issues after a few weeks, and the friend who recommended it has had his installed for well over a year. Install it properly, and this is a very durable upgrade. ... show more

    • This Tuner Really Works Great!
Installed this Pulsar LT Tuner in my 2021 Silverado 1500 Trail Boss 6.2 L, and performed initial setup last Thursday and took off on a 1,100 mile trip the next morning (this past Friday). Disabled the Active Fuel Management (4, 6, 8 cylinders crap), disabled the auto start/stop, set the throttle response to +15%, and set the speed limiter to 140 mph. Wife and I both were amazed at what a positive difference it made: like a different vehicle! Our truck ran MUCH smoother, pulled hills more easily, engine was noticeably quieter, drivability was better, and we were surprised by noticeably better fuel economy, even though much of our driving was in hilly/mountainous terrain. I haven't corrected the speedometer for tire size yet, but will do that soon. We also noticed that the 10-speed transmission ran cooler and shifted more positively and there is now less up and down searching for the correct gear, probably because the engine now isn't constantly changing between 4, 6, and 8 cylinders. This thing makes your truck turn into a beast. No more annoying auto start/stop, no more DFM, and I put the speed limiter to 130 just because I can (goes up to 140). These were my primary reasons for ordering this thing. The throttle response feature is just crazy. I started on the lowest and worked up to 5 just to see the difference in performance. It now has crazy acceleration and no more lagginess like before. I left it at 3 as that’s plenty for everyday driving, but you can go to 5 if you want a rocket ship. That feature is adjustable on the fly. It is a bit spendy, but damn it’s worth every penny. This is how the 6.2 should have been from the factory! Installation was a breeze. I don’t like where they have you mount the unit but there really isn’t another place to put it that I could see. Again this thing is the awesome and I would highly recommend to anyone. ... show more

    • Worked for almost 3 months
My pulsar module failed after almost 3 months of use. Every dash light randomly comes on and now that I have removed it, all is well. No returns so I now have a $500 paper weight

Installed very easily on my 2021 Silverado 1500 5.3. Night and day difference on throttle response. I leave it in level 3 for every day driving, it got rid of that pesky lag when initially accelerating. Level 5 is scary lol. Having DFM and auto stop/start disabled is amazing. Follow the instructions in the manual and you’ll have no issues. One thing often overlooked is don’t forget to disconnect the negative terminal on your battery before install. ... show more

    • Much better than the OBD ones - Delivers What It Says It Can - Programmable!
Using this for weeks now in a 2020 Sierra 1500 with the 6.2 and 10 speed. Installs easily, although the written instructions need improvement. I would recommend watching the installation video. They do provide a QR code that'll take you to their videos. The features are all programmable through the buttons on the steering wheel. The throttle sensitivity is easily adjustable even while driving. Very cool and useful. When disabling the auto stop feature, the light on the auto stop button turns off as well, unlike with the units that plug into the OBD port. With those, the light is always on (even though the feature is disabled). Just nicer that way. I have not had to modify ratios and all, but it is a nice feature if/when needed. One thing I really would like to see added, preferably with just a firmware update, would be the ability to have the truck go into "sport" mode every time the truck is started. Other than that, this product has been great. Between disabling AFM and also increasing throttle response, this will make for an entirely different driving experience. By a lot. You'll feel the difference in the seat of your pants kinda thing. So definitely worth it just for that. Well worth the price increase over the other types IMO. ... show more

Eaey install. Does what it says. On first start up it was making the steps go crazy, in amd out at random. But once the computer got used to it, that issue went away

Install was simple and works as said. Only problem is the blinds pot light on both driver and passenger mirror keeps turning on. Calling companie tomorrow.
