Exactly what I expected, real ASICS not a cheap China knock off, great price. Very comfortable running shoe for a narrow high arch foot. Love them, wish there were more colors available in my size.

I love this shoe. It is a comfortable and supportive exercise shoe. I do not run. I wear them for walks and workouts. They have a great arch support. I can wear them all day and my feet do not hurt. bought these to replace my usual discontinued model from asics that was the only pair of shoes i could wear with my problematic feet for the last 8 yrs. I didnt have much hope these would work. ordered the wide width and am glad i did. they fit well though a bit too long in length but im right between sizes so expected that. usually i remove the insert and replace with my prescription one but it didnt feel right in the arch, so i put it back in and put my insert over it. much better. there is some tightness on the top of my foot due to the increased internal height and some interior slippage of my foot within the shoe but am very pleased to report no foot pain after several prolonged walks outside. the slippage makes them not good for hilly hiking but for flat neighborhood walks these are great. very soft on the feet. much relieved. the shoe has an added bonus of being much more attractive than my last pair which was frankly fugly. ... show more

I used to love ASICS, i've been ordering them on Amazon for probably over 10 years. They were so comfortable, worry free, no blisters, lasted a year or two with daily rigorous use. Perhaps it's this new fabric? that is on the Gel-Venture 10 that wasn't on previous Gel-Venture 9, 8, etc. It is more rigid and doesnt breath like the mesh on previous gel ventures. My right pinky toe is feeling sore, rubbing painfully against the shoe after wearing these everyday for 2 months. That sensation was there in the first few days, but i told myself to break them in before returning. The senstion went away after a week of normal daily use. Now it is back. Im going to donate these and search for previous gel ventures that I liked. ... show more

Didn't have to "break" them in, they were comfortable from day one. Highly recommend for anyone with a wider foot. They are not clunky, very lightweight and allow my feet to "breath". Gray/Violet color combo is very cute, would purchase again.
