After adding finger tension to the bobbin winding process, success. After threading the machine top and bottom, I began sewing. Within minutes I got a thread fray on the top thread (using new needle & clean machine). I have now sewn at least thirty minutes with this thread and experienced no other problems. I use this brand all the time. I have few thread breaks. I have heard other people have problems but maybe they are running their machine at 900-1000. I run mine at about 700.
