Thread works well plus New Brothread has great customer support
This is my first major thread purchase for an embroidery machine I recently purchased. I purchased the 80 spool set so that I would have a decent variety of colors and I selected New Brothread because this particular set of threads is made so the colors and color numbers would be like Janome's threads. Also, part of the purchase decision was the awesome rating on Amazon. Once I had worked with my embroidery machine for a while, I was no longer making as many rookie mistakes (I wasn't sure if I caused the issues or if my machine caused it or if the thread was the problem) and then the New Brothread threads were working perfectly. Then I had a request from a friend to make a number of items with a marine-themed print fabric with a lot of dark blue but also with a fair amount of several lighter shades of blue and some white spots. The thread I chose was the N273 Honeydew because the color popped out perfectly. Now I needed some additional thread of that same color to finish the project. It turns out that you can buy it on Amazon, but only as a part of a set of different colors which I did not need at this point. So I ended up looking at the New Brothread web site to find that same color. They also only sold it as part of a set. So I filled out the comment form on their Contact page explaining the issue and asked what they recommended. They got back to me the next morning and said they had it in stock and they would see to it that I would receive the proper thread. So I did what they said, then they did what they said they would do, and now I have the thread I needed. So, it was a great price on Amazon for a decent thread, and great customer support from New Brothread. That leaves me very satisfied all around. ... show more

I needed to and border something that had five collars on it. I went to my local craft store and they were literally almost 6 dollars for each spool and they were so tiny. I went on Amazon, looking for some embroidery thread, and this package had the highest amount of reviews and the most value for your money. The embroidery very well. I have not had any of them knot up or the threads, breaking with a very strong, durability and variety pack. The only thing I’ve run into is sometimes when on my embroidery machine several threads will come out and tend to wrap between the machine and spool or the spool, and the spool cap that goes to my machine. I didn’t know until after several uses that the bottom of the spool actually pops out where you can put your thread tails into so your thread does not unwind in storage! The only thing I would change if I could change is to have a set of stickers that we can use to put somewhere else on the spools because the ones that are on there when you put them either on your spool holder on your machine or storage on anything like my pegboard the stickers pop off of the tip. It would be easier to be able to put a sticker somewhere else, so you can always have the correct number. ... show more

Works Great with My baby lock Flourish II
This thread has done very well in my Baby Lock Flourish II embroidery machine. I've used with regular embroidering and quilting on my embroidery machine. I've had no problems with breakage, etc. It also has a beautiful sheen to it that really makes the quilting look great! LOTS of beautiful colors. Just wish I ordered the largest option for ALL the colors! Brothread even offers colors in a 5000m large spool! Great deal! ... show more

So glad I bought this thread
I have made a multitude of sewing and machine embroidery projects with new bro thread and I’m very pleased. It has preformed beautifully. It’s wonderful value for the amount of thread and is much less expensive than the big names in thread. It’s bottom pops up and down so you can wrap the end of the thread around it and lock it in place, so no tangled messes of unruly spools! It is also colorfast and can even be used on things like towels that will be bleached without being damaged or loosing it’s lovely luster. It’s a great variety of colors and a s a great way to get started in the machine embroidery game without breaking the bank. I’m a big fan and plan to buy again in the future. ... show more

So far I’ve used this with my Brother Innovis embroidery machine, and with my industrial treadle for free-motion embroidery. I have not had a single problem with it in either machine. No breaks, shreds, nothing. It’s absolutely beautiful as well, with a lovely shine to it when stitched up. Performs overall as well as more expensive thread that I use. Good thread for the price
This is decent thread, but the stickers are unevenly adhered and the bottom breaks easily, though neither of which are a serious deterrent given the excellent price.

Beautiful colors
UPDATE: WOW! I very much appreciate the kindness of the seller, reaching out with my concern about wrong sizing. It was totally an error on my part. I did not think to check the inside of the spool for depth when comparing with other spools. Thank you for your patience & understanding! Rating has been updated to 5 stars. I was working on a project & in need of multiple shades of green to complete. This set fit the bill perfectly. After completing the project & making a home for my new colors, I realized something wasn’t right. I returned to look at the description & it does in fact state 1000M spools (the whole reason I chose this particular listing). What I actually received were only 550 yard spools. While the variety of colors are beautiful & the thread stitched well with my machine… the description is incorrect. ... show more

Brothread matches Janome thread colors perfectly
I recently purchased the Artistic Digitizer program. The colors used in creating their designs are "Janome" colors. I could not find Janome thread. I discovered that Brothread matches up perfectly with the Janome thread colors. And it is much less expensive than the few colors of Janome that I found. The thread is pretty, my embroidery machine loves it so I am very happy with the purchase. I am digitizing photos and the correct colors are important for photos.
