I purchased this Amazon Fire Tablet for my 7-year-old, and it’s been a great upgrade from his older model. The new case feels like a step up in quality and design—he really liked that it looked “more mature,” and the characters on it suit his personality perfectly. The tablet itself has been an excellent tool for accessing age-appropriate games, apps, and books. The one drawback is Amazon Kids. While it automatically provides access to all apps, games, and books within the chosen age range, I found myself spending hours going through and unselecting the content I didn’t want my son to have.
