I was planning to buy a refurb iPad, but a friend talked me into this one, and I am glad I listened to her. I do not subscribe to "the cult of Apple," and don't want an iPhone or Apple watch. I've been an Android girl since my first Motorola Droid. I read ebooks and magazines fine on my Android tablets, as well as surfed social media, looked things up on Google, and even wrote stories in OneNote, which is cross platform. But the one thing I noticed Android tablets were deficient on were good drawing programs. No stylus would work on them well. I was envious of my friend's iPad on which she could do art with such control using the Apple pen. This iPad has made me very happy in being able to create art with it. The control the Apple pencil gives is fabulous. I can do very nice sketches with it.
