I ordered this alternator for my daughter's 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. The price was much lower than the local auto part store. I decided to have the part tested prior to installing it. We tested it 3 times to be sure and it failed every time. I am thankful that Amazon's excellent return policy made it easy and free to return and get my money back. Curiously, there was a printed copy of a test supposedly ran on the part before packing it up to ship. I don't understand how it passed that one and failed ours. If anyone purchases one of these in the future, I STRONGLY advise you to take advantage of free testing at a local part store prior to installing it. Otherwise you may end up wasting your time and money taking it right back off when it doesn't work. ... show more
