I put less than 200 miles on since installing this alternator. It worked great at first. It started making a little scraping noise and stopped charging and now the noise is always there. The voltage regulator is testing good but the alternator isn't working. I realized it was cheap but I dont drive the vehicle much. Apparently it won't let you address any issue a short time after purchasing. Or have any warranty. Buyers beware ... show more

It was a little tricky to get the old alternator out but once I angled it the right way it came out pretty quickly. This alternator was almost half the price as my local auto parts stores price. I can’t complain about the performance of the alternator, it definitely keeps my battery charged even with my headlights, fog lights, and light bar on at the same time. ... show more
