So, just like most things in life, you get what you pay for. This price can’t be beat- just don’t expect more than a basic shag rug. It seems like it’s perfect for low traffic areas and the green color is lovely. HOWEVER, I read the reviews about the smell, thinking “eh, can’t be that bad”….. the one that I received has an extremely strong chemical smell- I’m talking fill your house strong. I ended up stashing it in the guest bathroom with an air purifier and closing the door while it fluffs up(I was impressed how small they were able to compress it in the vacuum sealed package). We have a couple warm sunny days coming up, so I’m going to put it outside and she if the smell can be remedied. I will update afterward! Edit: Although I am still sketched out by the smell, some time in the sun completely eliminated it. It is very soft and cushiony. I’d say worth the $30. TLDR: Great price, pretty color, soft, awful smell(just let it sit in the sun)

If you're in your first apartment or just don't have a lot of extra cash, but still want to cozy the place up then this would be a good option. It didn't feel as quality as a rug that's a couple hundred dollars; as expected. However, it looks just like the pictures when I got it and seemed like an actually pretty good quality overall. It was for my brothers Christmas gift. Soft, nice colors, and pretty worth it I'd say.

I ordered the 5x8 light gray rug for my new apartment to add some texture and comfort. When this package arrived I was skeptical, it was vacuum sealed and smelled funny however the rug easily laid out and any creases dissipated fast. I used activated charcoal bags to soak up the chemical smell & my Air Doctor, the smell went away within a day. I was pleasantly surprised that this carpet had a cushion feeling upon stepping on it, its SUPER soft and it’s definitely worth what you paid for. If you’re on the fence about buying it but also looking to save money I’d say do it, it does not look cheap and adds a nice touch. It’s super soft & honestly wish I got a bigger one. Will go perfectly with my leather couch!

Like others have said, it was vacuum-packed in a very small package but smelled horrible when taken out; this was easily rectified by hanging it over my balcony and spraying with Febreeze. My biggest complaint is the fact that it was NOT 5' by 8' - it was 3" shy of 5'. Typically, this wouldn't be an issue however for my use, it did present some challenges. For the money, it's a decent buy.

This carpet was really cute. The color was what was advertised and it’s super soft. Downsides are that it smells like paint thinner out of the packaging and that smell didn’t really disappear until maybe like four days after I had left it sitting out. also a few of the carpet strands came out like the fuzz I’m not sure what it’s called. It wasn’t a lot though so all in all it’s a good product

When I got the package for this rug I was like "this couldn't possibly fit in here", but it did! The creases shook out in a day, and it is super super soft. Thin backing, but that's fine with me. The reason I gave it a 4/5 is that there was a pretty strong smell that took a few days to air out. I do work with epoxy resins, and it smelled exactly like the toxic offgassing of that stuff, so I wasn't comfortable with that and left it in open air for a few days. and, I will say it again, the fluffy fur on this rug is ABSURDLY soft to the touch.

I was worried this would look cheap or get nasty but the shag cleans pretty well. We have two huge dogs and sometimes sticks or cardboard gets stuck in the shag but dirt and even wet spills come out super easily. I would not get this if you have kids who will be dropping stuff into it all the time.
