I had been eyeing this bed for many months for my dogs. Set up was not easy, a lot of the pre-drilled holes were not aligned correctly, it took us a whole day to get it set up. When we finally did set it up, we thought it was very nice in our bedroom, however, the wood has a very strong chemical smell. We thought maybe it just needed to be aired out. Our dogs, however, hated it. They refused to sleep in it, kept us up for a whole week because they would rather sleep on the couch than on this bed. We tried everything to get them to sleep in it, but after many sleepless nights, realized it's not happening. We do not have the original packaging to return this item, and I'm very upset with this company that they refuse to accept this return without all original boxes and packaging. A waste of $500. Never again. ... show more

Way better quality than I expected! The cushions are super fluffy and the bumper pads zip off for easy washing — love that. It was ridiculously easy to put together, no tools needed, and it’s very sturdy. My doodles go right up the stairs (I added some cheap grip tape $7 from Amazon ). In the photos, my 11-year-old labradoodle claimed the top bunk while the boxer and dachshund took the bottom — and later they all switched spots because apparently every level is the best level. 😂 ... show more

    • Good design, poor execution
Color: Grey

Even after reading all the bad reviews I went ahead and bought this because I liked the design and wanted my dogs to have a way to look out the window. The ladder pieces were completely unaligned and we had to completely redo the holes on our own. Not ideal for such an expensive purchase. 3 stars only because not much else exists like this and my dogs like it ... show more

    • Doggy bunkbeds 🐕
Color: Grey
My dogs really love this bed. But I do have some issues. Some of the parts were broken. The bed was obviously used, put sold as new I say that because there was dog care. On the bedding and some of the parts were broken and it took me so long to put it together that I wasn't able to return it in time, but it was okay. Um, they love it, nothing at a little duct. Tape and some gorilla glue couldn't handle. As long as my babies love it, it's okay. ... show more

This review comes few years after having this item . I liked this bed for my pets a lot although it is of cheap quality, I most recently contacted the manufacturer NewAge Per for replacement parts back in May 2025, I paid for the replacement to be shipped in advance since I paid I have emailed them only to get back an email error and no one answers the phone either . They stole my money and have gotten no response , do not buy this brand the pieces break and manufacture will steal and not communicate ... show more

    • Durable Over Time
Color: Grey
Review Image by JA
Update: in the beginning I was not pleased with the quality of the beds because they were made entirely of plastic. I have now had these for about a year and a half and they have lasted better than any dog bed I have ever purchased. The mattress covers come off and are easy to clean. They have held up very well, however I do wish you could buy extra covers for a replacement when they do eventually fall apart. We added skid proof tape to the steps which makes it easier for the dogs to go up and down. If anything happened to these, I would definitely purchase again! ... show more

The ladder is too steep and plastic. There is no traction on the treads. My dogs who are brave would not go up or down on it without assistance. It came in a box that had a little damage on it but the pieces that were broken were well protected in the middle of the box. The ones near the damage were perfectly in tact. The ladder was hard to put together and none of the holes for screws lined up. I had to super glue the ladder together. The bed itself seems nice enough but useless with a ladder that is broken and glued together. I could not trust it to hold my 60 lb dog even if it was not glued and broken. The treads are so shallow that a large dog would have no room for their feet/legs and gait from tread to tread and my small dog would barely be able to navigate it due to how steep it is. Again the ladder is the issue. A fall waiting to happen. So the ladder is coming off and I bought 22.5 inch high soft foam steps that have a larger tread for my dogs to go up and down. Too much trouble to return. Not taking it apart to box up. Should have saved my money and built one myself. But I will say it is cute! Wish it had worked! ... show more

    • Terrible
Color: Antique White
Waited 3 months to receive this after I ordered it. Once I received it multiple parts were damaged.. the seller and manufacturer told me they could order new parts but it would take another month.. waited one month, then two, then they told me to just return it back to the place of purchase, it was outside the 30 day return window at this point. Stay away from this company, cheaply made and terrible customer service. Wasted $600. ... show more
