The original “stubborn acne” patches in the red box are superior to any other patch on the market today. They’re very thin, and they seem to draw any secretions completely out of the pimple, including with cystic and nodular acne. They are also all one size, which is great. The only problem with the original Neutrogena stubborn acne patches (red box), is that the plastic backing where the spots does not tear where it is supposed to, and you wind up having to scrape it off the plastic with your fingernail, which means a couple of them are going to get destroyed before you even wear them. The second box, the red and white one that says, “sensitive skin,“ are terrible. Very thick, and don’t seem to draw out very much at all. They come in two sizes, so you have some of the normal sized ones, and a little less than half are these tiny ones that are not useful. tldr: The original red box “stubborn acne“ patches are fantastic. If you’re going to buy any buy these. The new “ Sensitive skin” formula are not at all worth the money. Also- I have very sensitive skin and I do not see any difference between them as as far as having any reaction to the adhesive. ... show more
