I keep purchasing this because haven't found or like products to leave on for oil control,and salicylic acid makes my face annoyingly shiny,although drier. I've left this on for 2-3 hours and then washed it off during oily months or hormotional flare ups,and worked amazingly and just right if I'm home from work the next day and staying in,as well.(Face would be slightly red,but very dry) IMO,start with 10-15 min on after it dries,and increment up from there.Anything less than 10 min would be a waste,but up to you.Be happy.

I've been using this face mask for a while, but my first time buying it online. The mask/wash: This face wash has done wonders for my skin, which used to get the occasional pimple and combination skin. Since I've been using this face wash, I rarely get any breakouts and has reduced any oil buildup. One of the things I love most about this face wash is that it uses benzoyl peroxide instead of the standard salicylic acid used in most acne face washes. Be forewarned, don't use colored towels when washing this off or you will bleach/discolor your towels. I'd say the same for your clothes. I use this as a mask about once a week. Trust me when I say a little goes a long way! You don't need to slather it on or you'll have to work to get it off. There's a nice tingling feeling while it works it's magic. Sometimes I leave it on a little longer than recommended, but have no issues removing with a washcloth/scrubber. My pores look smaller after using it. As for buying online: I didn't have any issues with the seller, but the current bottle, the product seems a little runnier. I'm not sure if Neturogena changed their formula, but it is a little different, however the effect has been the same.

I found this product by accident when I was studying abroad in the UK in college. I was using to purchasing some really expensive cleanser at the make up counter, and when I was there, It was something that was inaccessible. What attracted me to buy this product was the price, and the fact that it was the VERY last neutrogena acne face wash that I had never tired. I had tried many other of Neutrogena's "acne" products, but I just got a chemical burn from all of them. I have really sensitive skin, and most acne cleansers with salicylic acid leave a chemical burn and my skin feeling dry. I was surprised that this one did not. It also did not overdry my skin. I use this cleanser daily and every other or every three days I use St. Ives apricot scrub (which uses apricot and wallnut shells, so its all natural--not an exfoliate with plastics) I love this cleanser. A little goes a long way. One bottle will last me for months. If my skin if feeling particularly oily or my pores feel really clogged, I do the face mask (no more than once a week). As with anything test on a small area to see if your skin has an adverse reaction to it.

This is the best benzoyl peroxide cleanser I've found (and I've tried a lot). The fact that you can use it as a mask is a nice added bonus. I've tried a lot of different acne-fighting ingredients and my skin responds best to benzoyl peroxide. So, I've been using this on/off for 5 years or so. I first discovered it here on Amazon but now I just buy it from Walmart. I found that this is very gentle on my skin and doesn't tingle or irritate my skin. It does a great job of deep cleaning my pores and minimizing breakouts. Since I have extremely oily skin, I like to use it as a mask 3-4 times a week. It rinses off very easily and is great for use in the shower too (leave on while lathering, shaving, etc., then rinse off before getting out). It leaves my skin feeling really smooth and then I follow up with an oil-free moisturizer. I see that now more companies are trying to do the cleanser/mask thing and I've tried a couple of them, however, Neutrogena does it best! I always come back to this one.

During this time of Covid I wear a mask daily for work. After a day of keeping the mask on all day a clog my pores and I need a cleaner to clean my skin so I don’t have pimples or Unwanted dark spots. This cleaner has done the job. You can take the time to use it as a mask. Or just a deep cleaner. At first I thought the bottle was way too small for the price. But after using it it is well worth the buy.

I've used this product since I finally discovered it when I was 17 years old and fell in love with it and the fact that it actually works. My skin has a tendency of getting oily and shiny as well as developing the occasional blemish, and my pores tend to be visible and big. Using this product as a mask every other day totally clears up all the oil and makes my face smooth and reduces pore size. If you use it as a mask every day your skin gets really dry so just use it as a cleanser on the days you don't use it as a mask. There have been new products that claim to provide the same kind of results, but this one will always be my favorite. I also like the way it smells. I love how you can see your pores being cleared out while the mask is drying, you can see all the little spots appear along your freckle line and on your chin. I love this thing!

Good PRoduct... worked well for me... face clear in a week My dad bought me Neutrogena visibly in England a few years ago which i didn't use much cause my clearasil did the trick for me. anyway out of the blue i started having serious breakouts, like i never had before at age 27 long past puberty, despite the use of faithful clearasil. so i tried the tube of neutrogena 2 in1 mask sitting for years on my dresser and to my surprise my face was visibily clear in a week. then it finish and to my dismay i couldn't find it anywhere on the web for purchase but on amazon.uk who won't ship to the US, and my despair continued To the point....... I purchase this product and yes! it worked same product differnt name and package. Works well atleast for me. recommended shippment was a few days later but seller responded in quick time to my enquiry
