Bought a previous version of this birdfeeder by Netvue and was reasonably satisfied with it, so we bought two more to put around the property. Come to find out the service that made it valuable, the lifetime AI usage that identified the birds, is now a subscription service with these two cameras, making them essentially useless for the purpose that we had purchased them for. I cannot adequately express my dissappointment hearing my partner's voice fall when we installed the new feeders, put all the work in to get them setup when she realized they were simply unfit to perform what we had expected them to do - which was just what the first one had been doing all along for free and without paying $5/mo each forever.

Works great, offering numerous bird captures each day very reliably and with clear images. I haven't used the bird identifier feature since we get the same half dozen or so kinds of birds at the feeder each day and I already know what they are. My only negative about it is that we barely get a day's worth of use from it before all the food has disappeared. I'd prefer that it have a larger food bin. Maybe we just get an abundance of birds here or maybe we need to buy food they don't like as much. :-)

My mom loves this. She really enjoys watching the birds up close. Birds seem to use it just as much as any other bird feeder she has. She ended up buying the solar panel for it, which she would recommend. Sounds like charging it is a little inconvenient.
