This is my second NeoTech back brace so I pretty much knew what I was getting. Typically I only use it when I’m doing yard work or cutting grass, especially on a riding mower. Believe it or not the occasional lower back discomfort from the constant vibration and jarring you get while on a riding mower can be greatly minimized by using a back brace. Naturally, it helps to reduce strain and excess movement while performing lifting and bending activities too. I purchased this new brace because my old one has definitely seen better days. I’m going to wash it and put it in my truck for some future unexpected need I might encounter. Another thing I want to add is this back brace has shoulder straps, I wouldn’t have a brace without them. They are particularly helpful when you want to loosen the brace, cool off and later having to put it on and refit it again. Bought for my cousin who was does alot of heavy lifting. Kept complaining of back pain and couldn’t find a nice brace. It’s comfy and doesn’t get in the way. It’s helped in reducing the pain in his back.

    • Premium with a minor design flaw

After using the product for 3 work weeks, I can say that the brace works well. Below are my critiques of the product: PROS - material quality is best I have ever used - support is great (if you get the right size) - mesh-like material of the belt does allow some breathability - company communicates well and really does want you to be 100% satisfied with thier product - support braces in the belt are very firm, but you can move and bend with the brace on CONS - the shoulder straps to not stay in place. I have to constantly readjust them to the tension I want throughout the day because they slip down the strap as I move around during the day - sizing per the chart is not right in my experience. I was an in between size and chose a xl that was too big. A large was better, but not optimum for me. - design flaw of the belt straps. The velcro is only on the ENDS of the straps. The rest of the belt strap isn't useable to adhere one strap over the other. This limits how tight you can strap the belts for your ideal support. NEUTRAL - there is only one way you can wrap the belt straps since the right strap has a vinyl cover that won't allow the left strap to adhere over the right strap. - still sweat with the belt on, but not quite as much as a back brace that isn't mesh-like at the belt line. - to clean, you need to handwash and air dry. This belt won't last very long if you put in the washing machine on a weekly basis. ... show more

I have worn this brace for two days, and it does what it’s designed to do. That is 1) great support and comfortable; 2) the suspenders are easily removable (which I did); 3) back pain is almost gone when wearing. What else can I say? I’m pleased.
