Based on the price point, I wasn't expecting too much out of this airbrush- then I took it out of the box and ran some acrylic thru it. This thing is nice! I've used brushes from all the major brands- badger, iwata, etc. This thing can hang with the best of them. Smooth control from the dual action trigger with enough throw on the airflow to have a range of control not just on or off. No hangup of the needle in the body. Cleans up easily. Comes with 3 sizes of color cups, 3 sizes of needles w/caps & nozzles, quick connect adapter and an entire set of replacement o rings and bushings. I had purchased three of the master airbrush dual stage and had problems with them from the tips snapping off to inconsistencies when painting. This airbrush is well made doesn't have the small poorly designed tips that snap off because of being too small to be sturdy. This airbrush comes with other tips and accessories. The only problem I've encountered with this is a clogging issue which is entirely possibly my own fault. I am looking at buying two more of these and keeping the other size tips on each so I have three different tips to choose from. I have been VERY pleased with the overall performance of this airbrush. Works very well, comparable spray to my Iwata's, but at a fraction of the cost. In fact, I need to replace a nozzle and a trigger on my old Iwata HP-C, but it'll end up costing me in excess of $50.00. However, I can always buy another NEOECO, and have a complete airbrush with multiple needles and nozzle options for less than a couple of parts from Iwata. The other plus is that spare needles and nozzles are readily available on Amazon, and are inexpensive. They may be under a different brand, but will work. I'm also considering buying NEOECO's previous version with the chrome paint cup. If it's the same quality as this, I'll be very happy. A couple of things you may want to be aware of. First, the paint cup on this model isn't my favorite, because it takes a little extra effort to clean, but from what I've read, a chrome replacement will soon be available, so problem solved. The other thing is this airbrush uses the self-centering nozzle system which I believe is where the future lies regarding airbrush manufacturing. It's simply a better design and much easier to clean and replace when needed. So, remember that when you need to order replacement needles and nozzles. Bottom line, you'll be hard pressed to find a better airbrush at this price point. ... show more

I've used many brands of airbrushes over the years, from high-end (expensive) to some really cheap brands, and this one rates right up there with some of the better-known/named ones I've used. Right out of the box, with the 0.3mm needle, it performed flawlessly with both Vallejo and NuWorlds. Neither needed/required thinning. Reducer helped a bit to keep it flowing smoothly after about 30 minutes of continued use. Archive X paints just gummed it up even with thinning (as they do with nearly every airbrush I use them with) but switching out to the 0.5mm needle and nozzle, and thinned, even that paint worked smoothly. VERY easy to clean, and the extra needles (total of 0.2, 0.3, and 0.5mm) along with the additional cups are WELL worth the cost of this machine! I bent the 0.3mm cleaning, so ordered a set of 0.2/0.3/0.5mm to replace and have additional needles (for like $15), but breakdown and cleaning this thing is just as easy as my Iwata (I have 3 types of them). FAR more worthwhile than some of the other similarly-priced brushes out there. The images are using Vallejo primers with Model Air color, Archive X color, and normal paint brushes with clear coating done with this brush and matte varnish finish. All the little extras as well as being a solid brush out of the box makes this a dang good purchase. ... show more

Good size, even for my small hands, weighted very well, spray pattern seems to be good , I have other low cost airbrushes and I do like this one better. I wish they had the whole kit with the compressor included. Also was very easy to clean. I have other projects that have nothing to do with scale modelling that I plan to use it for, instead of using spray cans. This airbrush is by far one of my best airbrushes I have and I own a lot from the cheap 20 dollar hobby store ones the my most expensive $300 Iwota. This airbrush works just as good as my Iwota. Paint comes out smooth and I can fine tune it to the amount of paint and airflow I want coming out of this. The thing that puts this above the others is the end cap. With its openings and split end I never get any paint splatter or unusual paint coverage on my things. Even the Iwota I have to be careful of paint build up if I’m spraying constantly. But with this one I have not had any build up whatsoever. I cannot give enough praise about this mighty little airbrush. For the price, it is so worth it ... show more
