These shelf brackets are attractive and versatile. Can be used so they are visible against the wall or not visible against the wall. They are very strong and well made and can be use with a variety of shelf thicknesses and depths. The black matte finish was uniform throughout all pieces in the set. We were pleasantly surprised that mounting hardware was included. The screw anchors are poor quality but it is easy enough buy or use your own. Would definitely buy these again.

Caveat— It appears the brackets are produced in a variety of ways. Some of the reviews clearly have a bracket that is bent into place. While others like mine are welded. If you receive a bent bracket send it back immediately. As you can see in other photos the metal has broken where bent; and there is significant cracking and fatigue. Those brackets are likely not 90 as well since the metal has relaxed back to an off angle. The brackets I received have relatively clean welds that are ground flat and powder coated. The bracket is level and measures near perfectly 90; although having a slight up bend might not be a bad thing to account for a loaded up shelf. There are a few nicks in the coating due to the way its shipped but the coating appears thick enough to absorb the damage on some pieces while other pieces have exposed spots of metal. The holes are unsuitable for mounting directly to vertical studs. Anyone buying this should be aware of this going in. You will need to find a horizontal stud (or add one) or preferably a 2x6 if you plan on absorbing any true load on these brackets; for example mounting a stone slab on top. Otherwise you will need to rely on anchors like the ones provided in box. This will certainly limit the amount of weight the shelf can bear. = Specifications = Mount: - Size: 85.75mm x 49.60mm x 6.25 mm - Holes: 66mm x 29mm (d: 7mm) Arm: - Size: 304.78mm x 51.95mm x 6.25 mm (12in model) - Holes: 31mm and 280mm (d: 7mm) Holes on arm are chamfered on both sides to accommodate top and bottom mounting. Note: measurements include thickness of powder coat and thus may vary slightly per bracket. True metal will be smaller.
