NEMOâ€s unique Pawprints line the inside of your tent with a soft, washable fabric that not only keeps the floor safe from your pupâ€s paws and other sharp objects, but also provides a surface cozy enough for sleeping without a sleeping pad if you wish. I could cry talking about how much I love this tent and how it's saved my life. It's so spacious, well designed, beyond beautiful color (bright blue), has good compartments inside. For those sensitive to VOCs you probably still need to air this out for a few days. I hosed it off, washed it with water and a little scent-free dish soap - anything new will still have some smells. If you want a good tent with more space than you need that is fairly light and somewhat packable this one is amazing for the price. I've slept 5 nights in it, it has given me zero trouble, only downfall is it's huge in the pack. I'd recommend packing the tent in your backpack and the poles outside your pack. ... show more

We love our Nemo tents, and will continue to purchase them, Aurora was provided some great new things, insert cover for dogs. The size was wonderful, and quality was great. Our biggest challenges came in two parts, #1 there is only a single zipper on the entrances, this means you have to open the full door to get in and out, which lets bugs in and means you have to lean in to open as the zipper concludes, at the back of the vestibule area. #2, the edge doesn't seem to have as much of a lip which means while going in and out there is more dirt/earth that carries inside the tent. While this is an overall great tent, I'd say for us these two things drove us to get a Dagger. Anyhow hope this helps some folks in deciding what they want, and helps Nemo think of design. ... show more

    • If It Had Been My First, It Would Have Been My Last

Unfortunately, I kissed a lot of frogs before finding this prince of a tent. I have not yet tested it in wind and rain, so I don't know if it will prove kingly, but here's what I like about it so far. (1) I can set up the main tent part, by myself, in under 5 minutes. I've only set it up inside, but the rain-fly took only a couple more minutes, so I'm guessing I'll be able to stake it and run guy-lines in about 10 minutes, total, (2) The near-vertical walls make the tent feel unbelievably roomy inside, and I can kneel completely upright in it (I'm 5'6") at the center, (3) I'll be using it for motorcycle camping and I love that there's plenty of room inside the tent for my riding clothes, and the vestibules will readily hold what I carry in waterproof duffels. (4) It folds up tidily, rolls up easily, and is the first tent I've owned that set me to cussing while trying to wrestle it back into its original bag. If it leaks in the rain I'll be very disappointed because, right now, it's absolutely perfect. ... show more

We have used this tent several times this summer and it is still going strong! Very easy to put up and durable. The full mesh top is great for stargazing when the rain fly is not attached. Easily fits 2 plus our 40lb pup.
