Due to a spinal injury sustained as a teenager I've had issues with my back and feet for decades. Sitting (like at a computer) for any length of time will cause them to swell up and become very painful. This started happening to me in the late eighties when driving a Peterbilt over the road on long trips. Massagers such as this alleviate most of that condition for me when used often. These Nekteck units are actually very helpful, but.... The foot sections give a good, strong massage to my ugly feet, to keep the blood flowing nicely, but the uppers [calf part] don't have much pressure — bad! I think I may be hearing a small leak in them, but can't be positive. I mean, maybe they just release extra pressure by default. Be that as it may, I feel they should be stronger on the calves. Maybe I just got a defective set, I dunno. I do have another, older calf/thigh only massage set that work much better than these do tho. ... show more

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this leg compression massager, but wow — it’s now part of my nightly routine and I’m not giving it up. After long days on my feet (I’m an athlete, so lots of sports), my legs would feel heavy and sore. This thing feels like a personal masseuse just gently squeezing away all that tension. The compression cycles feel super soothing — not too intense, but strong enough that you can tell it’s actually doing something. I love that it has different modes and intensity levels, so I can start gentle and then ramp it up if I need a deeper massage. It’s alright but I feel like it probably works better on people with bigger legs. When I tighten the Velcro straps enough to get the pressure I want they just rip open when the machine is running because the Velcro barely has anything to hold onto. Especially on the ankle and feet area. But if you had wider calves I think it would really well ... show more

These feel great and are easy to use. There are three levels of pressure and after a long day of standing, walking, or sitting all day at a desk (which I mostly do) these compression boots are a nice way to relieve muscle pain and help with circulation.
