  • Everyone needs one!
Got a couple of these for my brother and sister-in-law for them to take on their bike adventures. I LOVE getting pictures of these ducks from their trips! It’s almost like I’m with them. 1 lost it’s helmet propellers pretty quick but otherwise they have held up for well over a year now.

  • It's cute.
I got this for my mobility scooter just for fun. It comes in parts, but it's super easy to assemble. There's a hole in the helmet for the propeller; you just have to peel back some padding from the inside to access it. Aside from that, I had no issues getting it on. I never planned on using the light feature, but I have to disagree with the idea that if the light dislodges into the duck, it's "irretrievable" or hard to get out. The duck is very soft and flexible, so I don't see any issue with just popping it back out easily. That said, it does feel a bit cheap, almost like I paid $10 for something that should have been $5 at most. ... show more

  • So cute, adorable, funny - but not safe for toddlers So cute, adorable, funny - but not safe for toddlers
We were looking for a bike bell such that has adjustable strap to be placed on toddler bike ( we have SEREED) or on toddler first scooter (we have mini Microkick board) and both bike and scooter have thicker handles than most children bikes or scooters, about 30 santimeters in diameter versus typical 21-22 santimetrs. The duck looked as a good choice, especially since it has helmet (we had hard time to convince our toddler to wear helmet and seeing the duck in helmet on his bike convinced him right away, and we appreciate this very much). In addition to being just so adorable, the duck has adjustable stra, can quack and squeak as his rubber relatives do, is a light-up and has a propeller that actually works. But with all the pros above there are some cons, that make this bike bell not suitable for toddler. The strap closure is not very tight,it is rather loose, and getting open/disconnected easily so duck is falling of quite often with just a little pull with those small hands, or when the bike bumps, which happens a lot with a toddler. The propeller works grest whem little hands turn it but doesn't work when a toddler is riding his bike - probably because of the not so fast speed. It is absolutely impossible for toddler to get the light on, especially with ducky wearing helmet, the same apply to switching the light off if mommy or daddy helped to switch it on. Grandma also can not neither switch the light on/off or change mode from flashing to steady and backward. The light itself is very bright, which is good for biking at night, but is not good for toddler's eyes. Our toddler ois able to produce sound and ducky squeaks when being squished, but since toddlers do not let it go, the poor ducky sounds as it is his last squeak and he is begging for help to free him from those grabby hands. And the last thing that makes this bell not good for a toddler - the light case with enclosed coin battery is very small and very accessible - it is practically falls out from duck's bottom when duck is being squeezed too much, or if toddler is trying to pull it from the duck using the straps. With all said - we unfortunately will return this bell as it is not safe for a toddler, though we do like this ducky very much and appreciate all ideas listed as pros. May be later on, when our toddler is a big kid we will buy it again. We are confident, that big kids, teenagers and adults as well would really enjoy that adorable ducky-bell, it is just not quite right for a toddler. ... show more

  • Cute but low quality
Like many others have said it's super cute but needs quality improvement. I had foot surgery and added this to my knee scooter, which I thought was perfect because I'm pretty slow moving now. I have the ducky on the handle bar and he definitely keeps flipping upside down. Sometimes it's convenient if I'm trying to carry something large as I scoot, I can try to balance it on the handle bars. The sad part is the propeller kept unscrewing and falling off. I ended up completely losing the propeller in less than a week after my purchase. 😔 Putting it together with no instructions wasn't difficult, but the light is difficult to turn on. ... show more

  • The Little Duck That Stole the Show The Little Duck That Stole the Show
I added this adorable duck to my electric scooter, and it’s turned out to be a total showstopper! When I am on a cruise, everywhere I go, people smile, stop, and take pictures. One crew member on a cruise even showed me the photo he posted of it on Instagram — it got over 50,000 views! When I cruise outside on the ship’s deck, the tiny propeller on its helmet spins in the wind, and it’s impossible not to grin watching it. If you want something that adds instant charm and attention to your scooter, this duck is the star of the ride. ... show more

  • What the Duck!!!
Okay, to be honest, the duck is adorable, and I like the idea, but this is the worst designed piece of crap I have ever seen. First off, there are zero instructions included, however, just by looking at it, you would be thinking to yourself that anybody with a wit of intelligence would be able to figure it out--wrong! When you try to insert the light mechanism (which is surrounded by a rubber containment stopper) into the bottom of quackers, the light dislodges from the stopper and shoots right up into his abdominal cavity and is irretrievable. You must then, by any means necessary, try to extract the light, which is nearly impossible due to relatively small hole and no good way to clamp down on the light module without damaging it. I had to insert a pair of needle nose plier--to the obvious discomfort of quackers- and clamp down hard in order to get a good purchase for it to be ultimately wrenched out. This of course took many attempts, and I ended up cracking the light as a result, making it useless. What is it with these product designers these days? Do they actually test or evaluate the crap they are producing. ... show more
