Assortment of springs were well packaged in hard, compartmentalized container for easier selection. Although specs did not say "made of steel", material used is of high quality. It takes A fair amount of force to cut it ( using a wire cutter ) so it must be made of steel. Stretching a few, they showed good tension/compression.
