Good value. Other sets can cost much more & they're the same thing, so, yes I'd recommend this product. It may be normal but we find them a little difficult to read. The letters are small & the same color. These should include instructions on how to use! We eventually figured it out, but there is a light handed technique to hammering these punches that's more effective than a hard whack. It also depends on what type of metal you're striking. Using a straight-edge or rule would help keep lettering straight. ... show more

I used these stamps on copper garden tags and the result was pretty cute! They’re a little hard to align so the look is kind of rustic, but I like it. My set arrived covered in some kind of grease so I had to wash them before using.

Letters/numbers at angles that are hard to compensate without seeing, the "R" was missing, and one letter was in the wrong orientation.. otherwise it is a great set if the QA was actually checking these during production.

Do the job! Like the size! Easier to see than 1/8 &3/32in.sets. Bigger so they are easier to hit squarely, and make a good impression with out hitting twice. Adding to rewiew on 4/5 still work good, but why have 2- O stamps? It only comes with 1-6/9 stamp. The extra stamp is a " & " why not use it for # or something else? ... show more

    • Crooked stamps
Several of the stamps were not aligned to the square edges of the punch. So if you wanted a straight line of text you would have to align those manually rather than being able to line up the bottom edge of the punch. Not worth the money.

    • Neiko Classic Numbers & Letters Punch set.
Haven't had a chance to use all of the punches, but of just 3 of them (J, P, and C), the "P" was weak and not up to par. If this is representative, 1/3 of the punches will be faulty.

Even went out and purchased the correct hammer and still can hardly see the letters stamped on coins. Will be returning

Overall quality is poor. There is no mark on the shank so letter orientation can be done quickly, you have to look at the stamp letter and orient correctly. Some letters where not manufactured correctly there orientation to the shank was incorrect off by as much as 30 degrees. Letter should be oriented square to shank, my set had several that where in this condition. I would not recommend buy these. ... show more
