  • Watch Before you Buy - A solid replacement with charging options
Style: LP-E6NH
The media could not be loaded. The most important aspects of any battery are form, fit and function. This passes with flying colors in all categories. It is a drop in replacement for the Canon battery, the charger will charge Canon or the Neewer battery. The battery fits, works and is recognized as a Canon battery. The charger comes with two options for charging, the built in USB A and an included power cord for USB C. I cannot speak to how long it will last, so far it is working great, but time will tell. The cost for two batteries is half the cost of a single Canon battery so it is a win right out of the gate. Solid recommendation for a product from well known, reliable company that offers prosumer products at a competitive cost. ... show more

  • Way better than the stock charger
Style: LP-E6NH
Great charger. Can charge 2x LP-E6(NH) off any USB-C power source. Great for traveling since it's more space efficient than the stock charger (much less two of them to match its ability to charge two batteries at once), plus with USB power you don't need to worry about adapters for international outlets. Screen is a nice bonus, showing the current pack voltage and input power for each battery slot while charging. ... show more

  • Great batteries, weird charger
Style: NP-FZ100
The batteries are like most other third party batteries, they do the job but don't last quite as long as the originals. Having said that, given the price they are more than worth it! I do have a gripe with the charger though: While it charges the batteries just fine, the LCD display is very confusing. It doesn't indicate the charging status with bars like every other charger but instead only shows you the batteries voltage. I get it in theory but that seems to be the wrong application for that kind of display. The charger also jumps back and forth between displaying information for one vs the other battery instead of showing it all at once. ... show more

  • A7r V accepts these without warnings
Style: NP-FZ100
Just a datapoint for people trying to find a NP-FZ100 replacement that Sony cameras don't complain about. I figured I'd try and see - this is "Neewer NP-FZ100 Replacement Battery Charger Set, Compatible with Sony a7IV ..." purchased in March 2023, and tested with a Sony A7r V delivered February 2023 with firmware v1.00. The camera powers up and runs on these battery packs without showing any warnings about non-"original" batteries, and does show battery percentage, even after continued use for a few minutes. These weigh 78 grams as opposed to the original Sony batteries' 83 grams so it's possible they have fractionally less capacity but they at least work correctly in the camera and charge fine in the Sony charger as well. As an aside, the USB charger that comes with these kind of works but charges very slowly. It draws a total of 5V, 2A (really closer to 1.7A) but tapers the charge current very aggressively so it will spend a couple of hours at 200-300mA. This is probably a good thing in the interests of safety since it is a two-terminal charger with no temperature monitoring, but it's inconvenient if you want your batteries charged in a reasonable time. Update: Sony has apparently added this battery tot the March 26, 2024 a7r5 v2.02 firmware update and it no longer avoids triggering the 3rd party battery warning. Unfortunate. ... show more

  • The cost-value ratio is nice
Style: NP-FZ100
This works really nice as intended, I didn't get a warning message when using this battery on my Sony a7c ii, and it shows the percentage battery life fine. I didn't really count how long the battery last because my photo shooting usually does need a full battery anyway and I don't shoot videos but I haven't noticed difference between this battery and original ones. As for charger, it's nice to have a built in usb c cable to just plug in a random 5v usb charger, ofc if your charger has 2.1v+ that's better. ... show more

  • I’m very impressed!
Style: LP-E6NH
Great job, Neewer! I bought these for my Canon EOS R5. The claim is that they are LP-E6NH replacements, and so far, they are. First thing I did was pop one in the R5 and turned it on. The camera recognized the battery without a complaint. No warning messages appeared, and I could register the battery with the camera just like an OEM Canon battery. The battery was already 85% charged, but I turned the camera off for the second test: In-camera charging. I plugged a USB-C PD charger into the camera, and the camera’s charger icon lit up! This is great! Two batteries for less than the price of one Canon brand battery is a good enough deal for me, so I figured the bundled charger would be a throw-away. But it’s a very nice charger! It securely holds two LP-E6 batteries and charges both at once, and the LCD display is much more useful than Canon’s single blinking LED. The charger has an attached USB-A cable which can be attached to a charger (not included), or you can attach a USB-C charging cable (not included) to the charger. I haven’t tested the batteries in use yet, and it will take at least few months to get an idea of whether they’re more or less reliable than Canon’s. But, so far, at less than half the price of one Canon battery, with full compatibility and a wonderful charger bundled in, I strongly recommend this purchase. ... show more

  • Batteries great, charger not so much
Style: LP-E6NH
The batteries have been holding up. So far I've rotated these in with an original Canon LP-E6NH, and cannot see a difference in how long they last. The Canon R6 is a battery hog, especially with a long lens using continuous focus. I can sense a drop in fps before the end of the first half, both for Canon and the Neewer - so I need to have a few batteries on hand, but don't want to pay Canon's crazy prices. Unfortunately one of the big selling points for me was the USB-C compatible charger. The charger appears to work, but many times it will stop before the battery is charged. I've been stuck in the field with dead batteries multiple times, so now use the Canon original charger, or another third party I have that uses USB-A. ... show more
