- Internal GoPro Battery Required: The module charges the GoPros batteryit does not replace it. Removing the GoPro battery will result in a battery error.
- Proper Latching: Press the side door inward to align the housing. The latch should close smoothlydo not force. If resistance is felt, reopen and re-seat the GoPro.
- Normal GoPro Heat Behavior: GoPro cameras may shut down from heat during 4K/5K or high-framerate recording in sealed housings. This is GoPro-specific thermal behavior.
- Mic Input Not Accessible / Webcam Mode: The USB-C port is blocked while using this battery pack, so external wired microphones are not supported. Bluetooth mics only work with GoPro models that support them. Webcam Mode may not accept external battery modules; connect the GoPro directly to USB power for webcam use.

Works as described, power will last just about all day. Good; last a LONG time with out having to recharge, even at 4k 60fps last over 5 hours (9hrs is estimated using 2.7k 30fps) but this works good for me I use this dirt biking. You do have to remove the battery door (so it can connect using the USB C port) but there is a seal on this so your GoPro is still water proof (I am using this on a GoPro 11 Black). Bad; it makes the GoPro much heavier, I usually use this on the front/chin guard on my helmet using a clip, but this makes it uncomfortably heavy (recommend you know where/how you want to use this before buying) and if you decide to remove this extra battery pack for what ever reason, be sure you don't forget the battery door! or else you battery will be falling out or you won't be able to use this! (i did this the first time) End; overall this is exactly what it says, extra battery life so you don't have to change the battery out so often, but is best used for chest mount or handle bar mount, not recommended for selfie stick or head/helmet mount due to the extra weight. But all in all good buy.

Fantastic power supply, performs exactly as promised. I've tested this out with the Hero 10, Hero 11, Hero 12 and Hero 13 all with no issues. Using static settings (5.3K, Hypersmooth off, rear screen 10% and power off after 1 minute, standard bit rate) I was able to power my Hero 13 for 7hrs 19 minutes in 68 degree temps. I also did a livestream from my Hero 13 in the snow and ice (see attached pics) and got about 6hrs 14mins out of this battery pack. The camera had a bit of ice build up on it but this proved to be no issue for the power supply and everything remained operational. The only thing to note is that while you can leave the battery in the camera, you will need to make sure you turn on the battery pack so passthru power is used. Like most battery packs, if the camera is turned off, the battery pack will also turn off. So this isn't suitable for turning off and on your camera in hard to reach places (as you would need to physically press a button to turn on the battery pack). However for those wanting to film for long periods of time, this battery pack is ideal.

TL;DR -> Doesn't work well (at all) with a GoPro10. I've got their older model for a GoPro 7 I've got and works well - don't need a gopro battery in the camera as the pass-through power works, when I do have a battery in the camera - it shows very clearly that the powerpack is charging the battery (like it's plugged in) HOWEVER none of this is the case with the newer version of the powerpack and a GoPro10. Can't tell if it's charging the battery, doesn't work if there's no battery in the camera. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't - I think it doesn't. Figured it was a one-off, so got a second one sent, exact same issue. The only review I can find online makes the same point - maybe it was the GoPro10 firmware that has been updated - no idea.

I have used this on a couple outings and enjoy it! It has done a good job with keeping the GoPro recharged while I am using it, especially on an all day video filming adventure. One thing about it though is that you have to keep turning the Re-Fuel back on to charge your GoPro after the GoPro has been charged. Basically, when your GoPro gets fully charged, it will stop and turn off. Then as you film and use your GoPro's battery, you need to turn the Re-Fuel back on to charge it again. If you are filming something that takes a lot of time like a night-lapse or any of the time-lapse modes and you want to start recharging your battery, you need to push the button to start the recharge and that can move the camera enough that it might misalign your time-lapse video. Nothing real majorly bad with that, it was just a minor irritation.

It is important to know that for this to work the camera needs to be on. My first attempt I set my GoPro to a timed delay and the device never turned on to supply the camera so the video was cut short due to the GoPro battery dying. My second attempt I did a time lapse for 9 hours in in-direct sunlight. The device lasted for about 8.5 before the GoPro started using its battery. After nine hours I shut it down and removed the GoPro and its battery. Both were very hot to the touch, but not enough to shut the camera down. I imagine in direct sunlight it would have, but so do most people’s phones. My third time lapse was at night and I used the pass-through feature and kept the device plugged in to a usb charger. The next morning both device and camera were still fully charged. For some reason a usb-c to usb-c won’t charge the device, I have to use a usb-a to usb-c cable. I think this is a good buy for the money.

GoPro cameras often lack sufficient battery life. This works really well, as I no longer need to externally mount a battery and run a USB cable. A better and cleaner installation!

I thought this would operate my GoPro 12 without the internal battery, but it doesn't have enough amperage and I get a "charge" notification. It does work fine with an internal battery installed, so I'm using it.

Bought this for my GoPro 10. fit was snug, so no rattling around. It took a 60watt charger approximately 4 1/2 hors to charge from one bar. It will charge the GoPro while charging as well. Battery lasted about a little over 5 hrs on a night time laps setting. Did not see if manual stated it would connect via usb to download files, but I tried and could not get it to connect to the pc using the usb c port. (could be user error)
