- Internal GoPro Battery Required: The module charges the GoPros batteryit does not replace it. Removing the GoPro battery will result in a battery error.
- Proper Latching: Press the side door inward to align the housing. The latch should close smoothlydo not force. If resistance is felt, reopen and re-seat the GoPro.
- Normal GoPro Heat Behavior: GoPro cameras may shut down from heat during 4K/5K or high-framerate recording in sealed housings. This is GoPro-specific thermal behavior.
- Mic Input Not Accessible / Webcam Mode: The USB-C port is blocked while using this battery pack, so external wired microphones are not supported. Bluetooth mics only work with GoPro models that support them. Webcam Mode may not accept external battery modules; connect the GoPro directly to USB power for webcam use.

Fantastic power supply, performs exactly as promised. I've tested this out with the Hero 10, Hero 11, Hero 12 and Hero 13 all with no issues. Using static settings (5.3K, Hypersmooth off, rear screen 10% and power off after 1 minute, standard bit rate) I was able to power my Hero 13 for 7hrs 19 minutes in 68 degree temps. I also did a livestream from my Hero 13 in the snow and ice (see attached pics) and got about 6hrs 14mins out of this battery pack. The camera had a bit of ice build up on it but this proved to be no issue for the power supply and everything remained operational. The only thing to note is that while you can leave the battery in the camera, you will need to make sure you turn on the battery pack so passthru power is used. Like most battery packs, if the camera is turned off, the battery pack will also turn off. So this isn't suitable for turning off and on your camera in hard to reach places (as you would need to physically press a button to turn on the battery pack). However for those wanting to film for long periods of time, this battery pack is ideal.

I have used this on a couple outings and enjoy it! It has done a good job with keeping the GoPro recharged while I am using it, especially on an all day video filming adventure. One thing about it though is that you have to keep turning the Re-Fuel back on to charge your GoPro after the GoPro has been charged. Basically, when your GoPro gets fully charged, it will stop and turn off. Then as you film and use your GoPro's battery, you need to turn the Re-Fuel back on to charge it again. If you are filming something that takes a lot of time like a night-lapse or any of the time-lapse modes and you want to start recharging your battery, you need to push the button to start the recharge and that can move the camera enough that it might misalign your time-lapse video. Nothing real majorly bad with that, it was just a minor irritation.

First time I tried it was in an air-conditioned room to record my son's concert. I got it because the regular batteries lasted only about 50 minutes at 4k and I needed it to record longer. So I mounted it on a stand and let it go. Afterwards, when I put the file in the computer, it was only 45 minutes of the show! When I powered on the GoPro with a regular battery, a message popped up that the GoPro had shut down due to overheating!! This was 4k/30 in a 69 degree room! It says it can be used in temps up to 122 degrees??!! What, for 10 seconds?? Really frustrating. Might be good underwater, but will see. If you're getting this to extend recording time in a regular environment, beware.

use this on my motorcycle. i did think / hope it would charge while us using, but it doesn’t. It seems to charge when the camera is off or not recording. However it does charge fast. It is heavy and large, but it does fit the go pro 13 easily. During an off road ride on the motorcycle, it fell off the bike with the vibrations which loosened the 2 screws underneath which i had not noticed. However even though it fell off in the gravel at speed, it protected the go pro and still works fine with no visible damage once i cleaned it off. good value for money and use it a lot.

I wanted a reliable way to keep my GoPro Hero 13 charged during my daughter's softball games. When it functions properly, it's effective; however, after nearly two months, it started breaking apart, especially around the rubber parts. Additionally, the non-standard USB-C ports make charging difficult because the cable tends to slip out. After two months, I still struggle to charge my GoPro reliably with this device, as the power button at the bottom right is inconsistent. I believe the company should improve this device by making it more resistant to direct sunlight and easier to use for automatic charging, without requiring users to guess which button to press. I'll search for an alternative solution.
