Fantastic power supply, performs exactly as promised. I've tested this out with the Hero 10, Hero 11, Hero 12 and Hero 13 all with no issues. Using static settings (5.3K, Hypersmooth off, rear screen 10% and power off after 1 minute, standard bit rate) I was able to power my Hero 13 for 7hrs 19 minutes in 68 degree temps. I also did a livestream from my Hero 13 in the snow and ice (see attached pics) and got about 6hrs 14mins out of this battery pack. The camera had a bit of ice build up on it but this proved to be no issue for the power supply and everything remained operational. The only thing to note is that while you can leave the battery in the camera, you will need to make sure you turn on the battery pack so passthru power is used. Like most battery packs, if the camera is turned off, the battery pack will also turn off. So this isn't suitable for turning off and on your camera in hard to reach places (as you would need to physically press a button to turn on the battery pack). However for those wanting to film for long periods of time, this battery pack is ideal.

Bought this unit in June 2024. At first it works great, would provide 6-8 hrs of extra run time on a GoPro 11. The last three times and as recent as yesterday (12/22/2024), it shuts down after 30 minutes of usage on a full charge. It was used indoor yesterday and it was around 60 degrees indoor. Turned it on, all 4 lights were green for about 14 seconds before it shuts itself down. Did not feel any heat or even any warmth from the battery so could not say it was overheating or not. Tried to contact customer service for warranty claim (1-yr) two weeks ago, crickets, not even a simple response acknowledging receipt of the warranty claim!!! So far, customer service has been non-existence.

Bought this a while back, It works great. Extending the amount of video I can record. Installs easy, everything fits tightly. With the correct cord it charges both device and camera. I thing it is a great value or the money. The true test will be in the next few weeks. Will get a better idea of the longevity of the battery and how much power it uses.

It is important to know that for this to work the camera needs to be on. My first attempt I set my GoPro to a timed delay and the device never turned on to supply the camera so the video was cut short due to the GoPro battery dying. My second attempt I did a time lapse for 9 hours in in-direct sunlight. The device lasted for about 8.5 before the GoPro started using its battery. After nine hours I shut it down and removed the GoPro and its battery. Both were very hot to the touch, but not enough to shut the camera down. I imagine in direct sunlight it would have, but so do most people’s phones. My third time lapse was at night and I used the pass-through feature and kept the device plugged in to a usb charger. The next morning both device and camera were still fully charged. For some reason a usb-c to usb-c won’t charge the device, I have to use a usb-a to usb-c cable. I think this is a good buy for the money.

Works as described, power will last just about all day. Good; last a LONG time with out having to recharge, even at 4k 60fps last over 5 hours (9hrs is estimated using 2.7k 30fps) but this works good for me I use this dirt biking. You do have to remove the battery door (so it can connect using the USB C port) but there is a seal on this so your GoPro is still water proof (I am using this on a GoPro 11 Black). Bad; it makes the GoPro much heavier, I usually use this on the front/chin guard on my helmet using a clip, but this makes it uncomfortably heavy (recommend you know where/how you want to use this before buying) and if you decide to remove this extra battery pack for what ever reason, be sure you don't forget the battery door! or else you battery will be falling out or you won't be able to use this! (i did this the first time) End; overall this is exactly what it says, extra battery life so you don't have to change the battery out so often, but is best used for chest mount or handle bar mount, not recommended for selfie stick or head/helmet mount due to the extra weight. But all in all good buy.

Only gripe I have is my go pro only lasted 7 hrs of continuous recording. After a couple charges and uses the battery life has reduced to like 5 hours. But that’s great compared to small go pro battery that’s like 20-30 minutes. I’ve had it in the rain and fog and still works great. Worth getting even though it’s not 9hrs of battery life.
