There seems to be a lot of alternatives for the DJI Action camera when it comes to batteries and charging cases. This product is one of those. To be honest, I try to use OEM batteries for my cameras as often as I can. But I know the prices for OEM usually cost a lot versus 3rd party batteries. Which is why I don't mind 3rd party batteries as long as they are known quality batteries with a good history of user experience. The batteries offered in this charging hub are suitable for the DJI Action 3, 4, 5, and 6. They offer 2100mah, while the OEM batteries offer 1950mah. The extra mah may give you a few more minutes, but it depends on your recording conditions and recording mode. Real world performance is probably negligible. I didn't really notice much of a difference recording in 4K, 24FPS. As a GoPro user as well as a DJI user, I found the naming of this battery a little odd. GoPro named their latest battery the Enduro, this battery didn't need to copy that. As for the charging case. The DJI's charging case is a slim, but longer case with no display. This one is more compact, and holds 2 microSD cards. I thought the display was clear and pressing the button scrolls through the different battery data for those interested. When a battery is inserted, the screen recognizes and shows the battery status. The only negative in my opinion for this charging case is the cover. It feels very lightweight, the magnetic component does not inspire much confidence with me. At $44.99 (at the time of review) this is a decent deal for 2 batteries and a smart charging case. 1 OEM battery from DJI costs $49. Let that sink in. On separate note: I bought my DJI Action 6 with the adventure combo so it comes with 3 DJI batteries in total along with other accessories. The combo only cost $100 more versus the standard combo. I'd suggest people buy the adventure combo from the start if they were looking to buy the DJI Action 6... just to get the 2 extra OEM batteries and charging case along with other accessories. Otherwise if you start out with the standard combo, and want to buy OEM batteries later, you'll end up paying a premium and end up spending more than if you would have just shelled out the extra $100 for the adventure combo from the start.

I picked this battery pack and hub up after recently getting an Action 6 camera, and it's always good to have extra batteries on hand. One of the first things I noticed about this battery pack is its more square design compared to many of the other battery packs that typically come with these cameras. It gives it a cleaner, more distinct look that sets it apart. Another feature I appreciate is the display on the front of the unit, which shows both the wattage and charge percentage. It's a small detail, but it makes a big difference when you're keeping track of your power. One thing worth noting for anyone considering this is that the hub itself is purely a holder and charger — it will not charge your batteries unless it's connected to power. So it does not function as a secondary or portable battery source. For me, this wasn't a concern at all. I simply wanted a reliable place to store and charge my extra batteries, and this does exactly that, and at a fairly decent speed. What really stood out to me most is the build quality. This unit does not feel cheap in the slightest, which matters a lot to me. I like gear like this to feel solid and durable, and this one delivers on that front. If you're in the market for extra battery packs and a dependable hub to charge them, this one is well worth a look. The batteries fit my Osmo Action series camera very well and provide a seamless experience right out of the box. Regarding ease of use, the charger being a case is a massive bonus; it is a great idea to have one dedicated place to put spent batteries in when they just need a recharge. The compact size of the hub makes it incredibly portable, fitting easily into my small gear bag without adding unnecessary bulk. I am very impressed with the features, specifically the LCD display that shows the State of Charge (SOC), so I know exactly how much power I have left. When it comes to value for money, getting two high-capacity batteries and an intelligent fast-charging hub for this price is an absolute steal. I’ve tested the compatibility with multiple models, and it functions perfectly without any "non-genuine" warning messages on the screen. The battery life has been comparable to the original cells, giving me plenty of recording time during long shoots. It is a fantastic all-in-one storage and power solution that I would highly recommend to any action cam enthusiast!

This is a really cool addition to my Osmo accessories. Not only is it a secure place to store extra batteries, but pressing the button on the front shows what capacity they are charged to, and plug a USB cable on the side and you're charging them up, using smart tech so as not to destroy the batteries or overcharge them. The case closes securely and has snug places to store the batteries and hold them either long term or just when charging. Charging is 14 watts per battery and the charge rate can be switched to a lower charge rate if needed, according to the instructions. Make your batteries last longer, or maybe if you are charging them from a battery pack and you don't want to drain it. There is a separate charge chip for each battery. The display shows stats on charging rate when charging and battery capacity when just checking via the button on the side. It even shows if they are too warm or too cool, and the display even shows when the display itself is powering down and how long it will be on and some other stats. The display looks nice too. The box visually is all high-tech looking, and the two extra batteries seem to be clones of the Osmo batteries. Capacity seems to be on par with the original battery, as far as I can tell. They on their own are great additions to my Osmo usage, as everyone needs at least one extra battery. Besides the battery storage, there is also SD card storage for two cards. SD cards securely snap in and out like most SD card holders. I'm really pumped to have gotten this.

This 2-pack battery set with the included intelligent charging hub has completely changed how I manage power for my DJI Osmo Action cameras. The batteries themselves deliver solid 2100mAh capacity at 3.87V, providing reliable runtime that matches or slightly exceeds what I was getting from the originals during long shoots. What truly sets this product apart is the charging hub. The 0.96-inch OLED display is fantastic - it shows an impressive amount of real-time information including exact state of charge percentage, current voltage, charging current, power draw, battery health, cycle count, temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit, and even the USB-C input capabilities. I love being able to glance at it and know precisely what's happening with each battery. Charging performance is outstanding. At the default settings it pushes a true 12W per channel (up to 14W adjustable), getting batteries from 0% to 80% in about 45 minutes and full in around 70 minutes. The ability to dial in anywhere from 6W to 14W per slot gives great flexibility - I usually run slower speeds overnight to maximize long-term battery health, but crank it up when I'm in a hurry. The build quality feels premium, and I appreciate the thoughtful safety features like high/low temperature protection and the precise Texas Instruments charging chips that maintain ±8mV accuracy. Charging cases are starting to become more common but this is one of the few that I have so far. So while I don't have too many to compare to I was really impressed with this one. May not be that necessary but it's really neat to be able to see charging info on the display and the exact battery percentage. Also great that I can press the button on the case and see the battery status at any time. One thing I did notice is that whole charging it keeps flashing the "Delay Caused By Battery Temperature" warning though. Regardless the batteries charge quickly so not sure there was actually any delay or if it was it was minimal. I definitely appreciate the added feature to include a couple slots to store micro SD cards. Case is small enough that it is easily take with you on the go without it being an extra burden. I have been using the batteries with my Action 4 and they have been working just fine. Also worth noting that when I have gone over a week since charging them up without use there seems to be no or minimal battery discharge during that time, so it's also maintaining the charge well when not in use. Would recommend to anyone needing extra batteries for compatible DJI action cameras (DJI Osmo 360/Action 6/Action 5 Pro/Action 4/Action 3 according to the item's description).
