  • Great Concept, Needs Improvement
I installed this on my Ray-Ban Meta glasses about two weeks ago. At first, it worked perfectly with no issues. Unfortunately, after some use, it stopped charging the glasses consistently. The problem appears to be a poor connection at the contact points. If I press down on the area where it connects to the glasses, the battery will begin charging, but shortly after, it stops again unless I keep applying pressure. This makes it unreliable for regular use. To rule out other causes, I verified with a multimeter that the battery I was using was properly charged. I also checked that power is reaching the connection points, but it doesn’t seem to reliably transfer power to the glasses’ battery. Interestingly, the glasses still charge properly when placed in the original case, likely because the case applies constant pressure to maintain the connection. While the product showed promise initially, the charging inconsistency makes it frustrating and impractical to use long-term. I’ve reached out to the seller and will wait to see if there’s something that can be done to resolve this issue. I’m hopeful a solution can be provided, as the concept itself is great but needs better execution. Update: Despite having issues with the first item, the seller was amazing and quickly sent a replacement. I’ve had zero issues since installing it about two weeks ago. I would absolutely recommend both the product and the seller, this is what true customer service looks like! ... show more

  • Make my glasses much easier to use and no more battery anxiety
I got this right before my vacation, and honestly, I am so glad I did. It takes just a few minutes to install the charging cradle on my glasses using the included alignment bracket. After attaching it to my glasses, it instantly made charging so much easier and completely solved my battery anxiety. For anyone who uses Ray-Ban Meta glasses and struggles with battery life, this is truly a game-changing accessory. Design & Build Quality: Solid, seamless, premium Unlike other charging cables, this cradle uses embedded charging strips, so there are no exposed wires and nothing dangling from the frame. It blends perfectly with my glasses, fitting compactly and discreetly—almost invisible and surprisingly premium. It is a brilliant design all around! Port: Magnetic charging port One of the cleverest parts is the relocated charging port. Instead of charging from the nose bridge, this cradle moves the port to the temple and turns it into a magnetic round connector. This makes it incredibly easy to charging by either snapping on the hot-swap battery pack or using the included magnetic charging cable with a charger. Convenient Hot-Swap Battery System The set includes a charging case and two hot-swappable batteries with a total capacity of 965mAh, which is enough to recharge my glasses 3–4 times. When one battery is out of power, I simply place it into the charging case and it will re-charge automatically. Easy to Carry & Store This cradle is ultra-slim and stays attached to the glasses, I never have to remove it. The batteries store neatly in the charging case, which is perfect for bags and pockets. Everything feels thoughtfully designed for daily use. Conclusion: The best charging solution for Ray-Ban Meta Glasses The PrismXR charging cradle is not just an accessory, it is an upgrade that integrates seamlessly into the Ray-Ban Meta design. Between the redesigned charging port, the hot-swap batteries, and the sleek appearance, it solves every annoyance I had with charging. Yes, the price is a bit higher than expected, but the convenience and design absolutely justify it. Recommended Highly recommended. If you use Ray-Ban Meta glasses and have battery anxiety, you will love this charging cradle. ... show more

  • Amazing nearly completely hidden charging, with one MAJOR drawback for some
I'm going to start by saying that this is the charger I've been looking for. It stays on the glasses and blends in nearly completely. I would have paid any price for these features. It looks fantastic and nobody will really know its there. Installation was easy, just take your time because you really only get 1 chance. I have a little concern over durability, especially when it comes to oily or sweaty skin. I've been using it for about a month without issue. Except for one MAJOR issue at the bottom. The little batteries don't hold a full glasses charge on their own, but switching batteries and using the charging case get me through the entire day easily. The glasses still fit in the charging case and charge, but you will notice they don't click in as well as without. Still, it is completely usable. Now, the MAJOR issue. For the first several days, I thought the charging contacts in the bridge were scratch and uncomfortable. I ordered a replacement thinking it was a defective unit. It wasn't defective, but it is flawed. If the bridge rests fully on your nose, you'll shock yourself with the battery attached. It felt like scratchy plastic so it took me a while to figure out that it only "hurt" when the battery was attached. I ordered some pads for the bridge area to lift it a bit off my nose (0.6mm and 1.0mm both worked fine for me). This returned this to the best charger ever. ... show more

  • Electrical Shock While Charging – Requesting Replacement
This unit may be defective. While wearing my Ray-Ban Meta glasses and using this mini power bank, I felt a electrical shock on the bridge of my nose to the point i had to take the glassss off in a panic. The wireless battery pack was attached and the charging cable was connected to a power bank at the time happened on several occasions I thought i was doing something wrong. There is an apparently a short somewhere. Because this device sits directly on the face, any electrical irregularity is a safety concern. I am requesting a replacement to determine whether this was an isolated defect. I will update my review when I test a second unit. I will not continue using this unit due to the risk. ... show more

  • Good idea, just not there yet
The first set I got the wire came off during installation. Was sent a replacement, I thought these were great for about two weeks when the glue started to come undone holding the connector in at the bridge. I think this is a brilliant idea but unfortunately it's not there yet.
