Very loose when I used it with a Portkeys monitor whilst turning my back & left my camera attended... the monitor swiveled around by itself and made my camera tip over to the side and subsequently I almost destroyed my favorite and most expensive camera I've ever bought... DO NOT BUY THIS CHEAPASS PrODUCT! I'd freaking sue for this!

I got this for use with a Viltrox monitor that came with a non-tilting monitor mount. I didn't keep the monitor, so I had to return this too, but it was so well built I almost kept it anyway lol.

If there was a way to lock the rotation, I would have kept this product. Tilt can be tightened to users preferences but as stated in another review: Monitor ends up becoming rotated, there is no way to tighten pan axis, if there was a way this would be perfect, had to return it because my monitor will not stay in place :(

Personally, want to save some extra dollars when building out my rig so I chose this one over the small rig. Really pleased with the quality and the usability. Me personally, I mounted it on top of my top handle and connected my ninja monitor to that.

You can tighten the tilt axis, but not the pan axis. My monitor often swings and spins around due to its weight as I move the camera. Wish there was an easy way to tighten the pan axis, similar to how you can tighten the tilt axis
