This is a remarkable ring light and tripod set-up. One certainly can't beat the value for what you receive. The user can attach multiple recording devices and the various mount styles can be positioned almost anywhere to satisfy the needs of most users. The included remote control (a very sweet bonus) paired immediately with my phone and I personally ❤️ that it's color coded with the tripod, too! I also enjoy that the entire set up can be used on any other tripod, or light stand, as it has universally accepted dimensions. This is a good thing because the tripod itself is very lightweight so if one wanted to connect a DSLR camera (which is entirely possible to do using the included ball-mount) it may not be as stable as one would like. Terrific value for the money, for sure!! I've already recommended it to others.💯

I bought the NEEWER 18 Inch Ring Light (RL-18) over six years ago, and to this day, it still works perfectly. Honestly, it’s one of the best long-term investments I’ve made for my content creation and photography needs. Whether I’m doing video calls, shooting photos, filming tutorials, or just need good lighting for makeup or streaming, this ring light delivers every time. The light is bright and even, with great color temperature options that help create a clean, flattering look on camera. I’ve used it with both my phone and my camera, and it’s always made a huge difference in quality. The tripod stand is sturdy and adjustable—no wobbling or tipping over, even after years of regular use. I’ve packed it up and moved with it several times, and it has held up without any issues. The cold shoe mount and phone holder are super convenient and still function like new. What I appreciate most is how durable the entire setup has been. After 6+ years, the LED bulbs haven’t dimmed, nothing has broken or needed replacing, and the build still feels solid. I expected to replace it by now, but it just keeps performing. Pros: Bright, adjustable lighting Strong, stable tripod Great for phones and cameras Lasts for years with no issues Perfect for makeup, streaming, content creation Cons: Not the most compact for travel, but manageable If you’re looking for a dependable ring light that will last for the long haul, I highly recommend this one. The lighting is very even, making your face look clean and flawless on camera — perfect for video recording, live streaming, or makeup. Very bright!. It can be adjusted to your liking- my only issue is the phone holder slides off and doesn’t stay locked . Easy to assemble, it’s worth the purchase.. not heavy and easy to travel with it came with the bag. I love the two different light colors.

I started an art studio with two others. We all purchased this lamp and started using them in August 2022. I LOVED how bright this light was. The only issue is that they ALL slowly stopped working. Mine turned off randomly one day and never could turn back on. I was able to get a replacement via the warranty, but it was a process. We paid $130 for each light. Neewer asked for videos of the light not turning on. Then they asked me to pay for shipping the broken one to them, which cost me around $70 because of the irregular/large box size. They send the replacement for “free.” But paying $70 to replace a $130 light that broke well under warranty feels so silly. It’s more than half the cost of the original light. Very disheartening. I thought maybe it was just my light, but the other two artists are now dealing with the same issues. It’s not even worth paying $70 each to get a replacement so we will just be disposing of them. We will be seeking a different light now. It’s honestly unbelievable that this happened to all of our lamps. It was a major waste of time/ money, and truly such a shame. Reading through the reviews, I can see that others have dealt with these just.. not working suddenly. Totally unreliable.
