This is an excellent tool for getting that impossible angle. Once tightened, it stays tight, I have had others that will loosen up from vibration on a rough road, and almost lost a camera or two. I like how fine the movement of the elbow is. Works great with my “Neewer Dual Suction Cup Car Mount” I clamped this into the bed of my truck, tossed about two pounds of weight on it, and then hit the road, driving over some pretty rough terrain. When I finally pulled over to check, it was still tight and everything was exactly where I left it. It’s impressive how well it held up, even with all the bumps and jolts. No shifting, no slipping—just solid performance. This thing definitely passed the test! This thing is well-built with an all-metal construction. It’s got that solid, sturdy feel that you don’t get with cheaper options. You can tell they’ve put some real thought into the design and materials, and it really shows. It’s not just about looks; the durability and quality are top-notch. You won’t have to worry about this thing breaking or wearing out anytime soon. It’s like the tank, built to last and take a beating!

While I am a bit perplexed as to the "magic" these arms are purported to provide. These types of adjustable arms are just about a mandatory accessory for your external microphones, lights, etc. The main advantage of this kit is the fact that the arm comes with the clamp and the arm itself deploys ARRI pins to secure the arm to an object and an object to the arm. The "no twist" aspect of the 1/4" ARRI helps keep things secure and in place. Neewer quality all the way, nicely built, and priced competitively. If peace of mind is important to you this arm is worthy of consideration.

I have a similar Neewer version of this exact same mount from maybe two or three years ago. That version only has one end with the monitor locator pins. Both mounts seem to function much the same with the positive stops built into the center pivot, and I'm able to use the locator pins on my light or monitor on one end while using the locator pins on my cage on the other to ensure that whatever I have rigged up stays put. My one complaint is tightening holes on the knurled screws. As you can see in the photos, I have Neewer handles for my camera. Those handles come with allen wrenches that fit nicely into the holes on those screws but they don't fit the holes on this. I feel like that was a missed opportunity and that being able to universally tighten any Neewer product with the same wrenches would have been a great idea.

This is a little shorter than I pictured in my mind, but the device is sturdy, clamps great, and has some unique ARRI locating pins that help to lock it in. I love how everything can be articulated by simply loosening the knob, giving a massive range of movement and the ability to get the arm in the perfect position. The clamp secures to both cylindrical and flat surfaces, and is easy to lock down. Love this and it's variety of applications.

The locating pins and the clamp work so well! I have the older version without the pins and it's useless for holding things up. This is sturdy all around and quick to adjust. I highly recommend this over the ones with just the 1/4" screw.

The clamp has a 1/4 and a 3/8 hole so I can fit it to whatever equipment I have handy. It opens nice and wide, and the knob spins very freely. Being able to spin it up quickly makes it feel pleasant to work with. The magic arm locks down securely in whatever angle I have it. I also appreciate the locating pins so I don't have to worry about the super clamp spinning off under load. Overall a great arm. Highly recommended.
