  • Works great, but instructions would be nice...
These are great. The only cons are (a) - they don't come with instructions at all; which isn't terrible, because it's easy to learn how to remove the original lens to swap, however - a novice (like myself) wouldn't know about the f-stops for different intensities in light filtering at all. Found out surprisingly on YouTube. (b)- my 32/PL doesn't fit for some reason. All the others fit fine, but.....the main reason I purchased this pack is defective. I'll return it and hopefully received a better replacement. ... show more

  • Product seems to be of high quality, but.....
Ordered and received this product. At first glance, they seem to be high quality filters. The problem that I have with this product is the lack of instructions. All I received was a box with the filters inside of a case. Nothing indicating how to install these filters at all. When into the product page and read through the entire page, found nothing with instructions on how to install these. It was only until I read the reviews that I was able to figure out how to install these filters. This is a big oversight. So yes - while the filters may be of high quality... The fact that they could not bother to include any instructions anywhere is the reason why I rated this product 2 stars. ... show more

  • Filters work well, need better instructions
First, the good (and there's a lot of good). These filters are well-made and snap right into place. In case you wonder how to install them, here are the steps (and you can see my last three pictures illustrating these steps): 1. Hold the gimbal firmly in your fingers and twist the standard lens cap to the left about 1/16". Remove it. 2. Place the new filter on the gimbal with about this same offset to the left. You'll feel it snap onto the plastic tabs. 3. Hold the gimbal firmly in your fingers and twist the filter to the right about 1/16". Make sure it's secure and snapped in all the way around. The case is well-made and holds the filters perfectly. The case fits perfectly in one of the cutouts in my Grapsa DJI Mini 3 Pro case (also available from Amazon). I taped on a "cheat sheet" that I made (also pictured) to remind me of which filter to use when. The included lens cloth is a nice add-on that will help keep the filters clean. The filters work as they should. They remove different levels of glare and help achieve different affects depending on the ambient sunlight conditions. I took five pictures of our house within about a 10 minute time period (as fast as I could take off, take a picture, land, change filters, and repeat) using no filter and four different ones of these filters. They performed as expected on a moderately-sunny day. The difference in the pictures is not great, but the filter effect is noticeable. I'll probably leave the UV filter on for most of my picture taking. I look forward to using the CPL one over water. The progressively-darker ND filters will be great on really sunny days. These filters add one more tool to your toolbox for capturing perfect pictures with this amazing little drone. My only complaint is that no instructions are included. A little sheet is included that includes the manufacturer's website. However, that website did not include detailed instructions for this product that I could find. I have been and will continue figuring it out myself with help from strangers on the internet, but for what this product costs, detailed instructions should be provided to help the customer get the most out of them. If detailed instructions were provided, these filters would earn a five-star rating. ... show more

  • These add some pop to my pix
I'd long avoided filters because I didn't understand how they attached and how, on a camera like the one on my Mini 3, they might help. I'm glad I stopped avoiding them. It turns out, I just have to gently grip the lens body, then twist the old lens off. Then lightly press and twist the new one on. No extra weight. Nothing in the way. And, depending on your need, this set of filters in varying densities can really make your drone shots pop. I noticed right away an increase in color performance and contrast, especially on slightly hazy or humid days. The greens on the ground, for example, were less blown out in the highlight areas of the image. And, in many cases, the blacks were blacker. I'm still learning to use them in this context (having been familiar with using ND and haze and polarizer filters on my SLR and DSLR going back for years). But the learning curve is a little different with a drone because I'm still not proficient at playing with the drone's camera settings for optimal performance in specific situations (how could I have been so good at it with handheld cameras and such a klutz with the drone). These filters aren't going to change your images overnight if you're still learning. But, if you're willing to put in the time to learn, they're a great value kit. ... show more
